Effect MFD Viscosity on Bénard–Marangoni Ferroconvection in a Rotating Ferrofluid Layer with Convective Surface Boundary Condition
Abstract: AbstractThe combined effect of Coriolis force due to rotation and magnetic field dependent (MFD) viscosity on the onset of Bénard–Marangoni convection in a horizontal layer of ferrofluid is investigated theoretically. The lower boundary is taken to be rigid–isothermal, while the upper free boundary open to the atmosphere is flat and subject to a convective surface boundary condition. The Galerkin technique is employed to extract the critical stability parameters numerically. It …

Thermomagnetic Convection in a Ferrofluid Layer with Throughflow
Abstract: The effect of vertical throughflow on the onset of thermomagnetic convection in a ferrofluid layer in the presence uniform vertical magnetic field is investigated theoretically. Both the boundaries are considered to be rigid-ferromagnetic and insulated to temperature perturbations. The resulting eigenvalue problem is solved numerically using the Galerkin technique as well as analytically by regular perturbation technique with wave number as a perturbation parameter. Results show that the effect of …

A smart fluids; Magneto rheological, ferrofluid, and nanofluids; a prospect for Medical and Technological application
Abstract: The physiochemical and biomedical applications of smart fluids, typically ferrofluid, magnetorheologicalfluids, and nanofluids are studied. It is predicted that these fluids are impacted by the three most important rheology parameters, namely strain, magnetic field, and temperature. The magnetoresistive contribution is treated in terms of drug force in order to determine thecoefficient of viscosity. The research presents that the viscosity of studied fluids will increase in proportion to applied magnetic field. …

Penetrative Thermomagnetic Convection in a Micropolar Ferrofluid Layer via Internal Heating
Abstract: Through the internal heating model thermomagnetic convection in a micropolar ferrofluid layer has been studied in the presence of a uniform vertical magnetic field. The rigid-isothermal boundaries are considered to be paramagnetic. The eigenvalue problem is solved numerically by Galerkin technique. The system stability is dependent on the various parameters like, dimensionless internal heat source strength Ns, magnetic parameter M1, the non-linearity of magnetization parameter M3, magnetic susceptibility χ, coupling …

A Comprehensive Study of ZnxFe2-xO3 Nanoparticles: Assessing Magnetic Properties for Medical Imaging (MI)
Abstract: Diluted magnetic ZnxFe2-xO3 nanoparticles are special semiconducting nanoparticles which are recognized for their magnetic properties. A theoretical examination of Zn-doped αFe2O3 nanostructures reveals a range of structural and property variations, offering insights into their potential applications and behavior at the nanoscale. In this regard, Heisenberg’s model and Weiss molecular filed theory is used to describe the magnetic properties of ZnxFe2-xO3 nanoparticles. These theorems inevitably enable to investigate the relationship between …

The Onset of Rayleigh-Bénard-Marangoni Convection in a Ferromagnetic Fluid Layer
Abstract: This study examined the implications of magnetic boundary conditions, which are vertical in nature, on buoyancy and surface tension–driven ferrothermal convection (FTC) in a ferrofluid layer. While the upper surface is stress-free and susceptible to general thermal boundary issues, the bottom surface is stiff and insulating against temperature changes. The eigenvalue issue is solved analytically using the regular perturbation method and numerically using the Galerkin technique. According to analysis, raising …
