Morphological and Dielectric Relaxation Responses of Polymer Stabilized Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal Composite Films
Abstract: Polymer-stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystal (GH-PSFLC) composite films have been prepared by polymerization-induced phase separation (PIPS) process as a function of polymer concentration. Epoxy polymer was homogeneously dispersed into FLC host matrix to create fibril network in the composite films. Twisted fibril-like network was observed through polarizing optical microscope through transmission mode. Dielectric relaxation spectroscopy of these composites shows that real part of permittivity decreases with polymer concentration. Goldstone relaxation mode …

Dielectric Studies of 0.5Ba0.8Ca0.2TiO3.0.5CaCu3Ti4O12 Nanoceramic Fabricated by Chemo-mechanical Process
Abstract: The present investigation is aimed toward investigate a straightforward, inexpensive, and environmentally friendly chemo-mechanical method for preparing high-dielectric materials, specifically 0.5Ba0.8Ca0.2TiO3.0.5CaCu3Ti4O12 (BCT-CCTO), by combining metal nitrate combustion with solid TiO2 powder and titanium isopropoxide, Ti (OR)4. The composite was prepared by the mixing of individual materials of Ba0.8Ca0.2TiO3 and CaCu3Ti4O12 through the chemo-mechanical method. Initially, 99% pure Ba (NO3)3, Cu (NO3)2∙3H2O, TiO2 and glycine were taken in their stoichiometry ratios. …

Impact of Sol–Gel Processing on Dielectric and Energy Storage Properties of BaTiO3 Nanoceramics
Abstract: Barium titanate (BaTiO3) is a widely studied ferroelectric material because of its high dielectric permittivity and strong potential for electrostatic energy storage applications. In this study, BaTiO3 nanoceramics were synthesized using a controlled sol–gel processing route to investigate the influence of synthesis conditions on their dielectric relaxation and energy storage performance. The synthesized powders were calcined and subsequently sintered at temperatures ranging from 1100°C to 1300°C. Structural analysis using X-ray …

Study of Dielectric and Magnetic properties for ZnFe 2 O 4 Nanoparticles Synthesized usinghigh current Exploding Technique
Abstract: The current article uses the exploding wire technique to examine the magnetic, electrical, and dielectric properties of nanoscale zinc copper ferrite (ZnFe2O4). The SEM micrographs confirm the almost uniform size distribution of the nanoparticles. The Mossbauer spectrum of the nanoparticles was recorded with an externally applied magnetic field at room temperature. The ferromagnetic behavior of the ZFO sample was determined through VSM measurements at ambient temperature, and the M-H loop …

Processing and Dielectric Properties of Bio-fiber Reinforced Polymer Composite Using Brown Grass Flower Broom
Abstract: AbstractA novel low-cost polymer composite using brown grass flower broom reinforcement is prepared. From the physico-mechanical characterization, it is found that the prepared composite is lightweight and of high strength. Investigation of dielectric behavior of this polymer composite proves its efficiency as a high-value marketable product. As the composite is made using bio-materials from local resources, its cost is less as compared to other polymer composites available today. Keywords: polymer …

Overview of Ionic Polarization: A Model Based Novel Approach
Abstract: This study presents a comprehensive analysis of ionic polarization through a novel model-based approach that integrates theoretical, computational, and experimental methodologies. Ionic polarization, which significantly influences the dielectric properties of materials, is examined through the lens of the Clausius-Mossotti equation and the Debye relaxation model, providing a theoretical framework for understanding the relationship between ionic displacement and dielectric behavior. To explore ionic displacement and polarization at the atomic level, advanced …

Electrical Measurements on La-modified Four-Layered Aurivillius Ceramics
Abstract: Bismuth layered structure ferroelectric (BLSF) of Aurivillius family is found to be attractive owing to its scientific and technological point of view. These materials have potential ferroelectric applications owing to the fact of its high Curie temperature, high temperature piezo-devise and ferroelectric random access memory (FRAM), applications. In addition, Bi-modified compounds have shown improved ferroelectric properties. However, the plausible reason for improving ferroelectric properties in Bi-modified is still unclear. The …

Structure Property Correlation of Polymer Dielectrics Using Electrical Response Data
Abstract: Polymer dielectrics are foundational to insulation, capacitors, embedded passives, and flexible electronics, where performance is governed by the frequency-dependent electrical response rather than a single dielectric constant. This study presents a spectroscopy-aware structure–property correlation framework that transforms dielectric response data into physically interpretable spectral fingerprints and learns mappings from polymer descriptors to these fingerprints for prediction and interpretation. Broadband spectra are standardized on a log-frequency grid and parameterized using relaxation-informed …
