Design Conceptualization and Computational Analysis of Cryogenic Engine Nozzle-ABYOM
Abstract: The main purpose of this paper is to design a cryogenic engine nozzle with specified dimensions using CATIA V5 software and analyze the nozzle using ANSYS software. The realizable k-ε viscous model was used for calculation and the Hydrogen (H2) had retained as an ideal gas. The CFD simulations were done on the nozzle to find the pressure, density, velocity, and temperature. In the graph, there are 500 points streamlined …

Review in Friction Stud Welding of Aluminium to Steel
Abstract: The demand for friction stud welded aluminum/steel joints has increased in many significant applications including cryogenics, structural engineering, spacecraft, rocket fuel tanks and high vacuum chambers owing to their superior properties. In automobile engineering, there is a requirement to join a mild steel earthing pin which is in the shape of a stud to an aluminum car body. Aluminum and steel was considered to join using friction stud welding. This …

Deep Cryogenic Treatment of Copper Chill Plates in Stir Casting of Al6061-Silicon Carbide Composites
Abstract: Aluminum-Silicon Carbide Metal Matrix Composites (Al/SiC MMCs) represent advanced materials created through the integration of aluminum matrices with silicon carbide particle reinforcement. These composites demonstrate superior characteristics compared to conventional aluminum alloys, establishing their relevance across diverse engineering applications. This experimental investigation focuses on developing composites using aluminum as the base matrix while incorporating SiC particles (40-50μm particle size) as reinforcing agents. The reinforcement content was systematically varied from 3 …

Advancements in Nanostructured Membranes for Gas Separation: A Comprehensive Review
Abstract: Gas separation is vital in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental industries, yet traditional methods like distillation and cryogenic separation are energy-intensive and inefficient. Nanostructured membranes present a promising alternative, utilizing nanomaterials such as titanium dioxide, silica, carbon nanotubes, zeolite, and metal-organic frameworks to enhance separation efficiency and selectivity while reducing energy consumption. These membranes fall into various categories: polymeric nanostructured membranes, including mixed matrix and thin-film composites; inorganic membranes, such as …
