Performance Analysis of Rectangular Patch Antenna with EBG using Quarter Wave Feed Line and Coaxial Feed Line Methods for C-Band Radar Based Applications
Abstract: Microstrip antenna has various attractive features like light weight, low cost, easy fabrication, etc. Microstrip antenna can be fed in a variety of ways. This paper is focused on the enhancement of gain of the rectangular patch antenna with electromagnetic band gap structures at 7.5 GHZ for two different feeds and compares their results. The two types of feeds are coaxial line feed and quarter wave feed. Antenna design has …

Split Ring Resonator Based Dual Frequency Microstrip Patch Antenna For Wireless Applications
Abstract: The objective of the work is to design a compact dual frequency microstrip antenna (MSA) at GSM 1800 MHz and ISM (2.4 GHz). The proposed MSA incorporates a rectangular patch with an inverted U slot printed on the top of RT duroid 5880 substrate with thickness of 0.8mm and dielectric constant of 2.2. The dimensions of the patch are optimized as 45x 54 mm2. It is fed by coaxial feeding. …

Design and Simulation of E-Shape Micro-strip Patch Antenna at 2.45GHz
Abstract: AbstractThis paper presents comparison of rectangular micro strip patch antenna and E-Shaped micro strip patch antenna operating at 2.45GHz. Two parallel slots are made into the basic rectangular patch design of micro strip antenna which resulted into desired E-shaped patch. The basic design consist of inset feed type and we have used dielectric substrate Fr4 epoxy whereas E-shaped patch consist of coaxial probe and RT Duroid as substrate. Both the …

Analysis of N-Slot Loaded Patch Antenna for Tripple Band Operation
Abstract: ABSTRACT In this paper, the analysis of N-slot loaded microstrip antenna having single and double dielectric layer with coaxial feeding is presented using circuit model analysis. The antenna gives triple resonance and the separation between these resonances depends on the dimension of the slot. This antenna gives wide bandwidth for all three resonant frequencies for single dielectric and gives four bandwidths for double dielectric layer. It is observed that the …

Effect of Notching on the Return loss of T-shaped Microstrip Patch Antenna for Wireless Communication System
Abstract: AbstractWith the loading of a pair of notches, a T-shaped slot and a pair of rectangular slots, novel bandwidth enhancement of microstrip antenna is demonstrated. The design is fed through a single coaxial probe. The proposed antenna is a modification of a simple T-shaped antenna which provides good radiating characteristics with enhanced bandwidth. The proposed antenna covers the S band and is used for many wireless applications. The proposed antenna …
