REDUCING BASE STATION POWER CONSUMPTION
Abstract: As power consumption is becoming a key issue in mobile communication and the heart of mobile communication is Base Station. This paper concentrates on reducing BS power consumption by using three basic power saving mechanisms: sleep mode, discontinuous transmission and antenna adaptation.
