Characterization Of Bagasse Ash for Polymer Composite Applications: Reinforcement and Biocompatibility
Abstract: In present investigation, comparison of the survival rate of Bacillus megaterium inoculated in bagasse ash and charcoal is done which is widely used as a carrier material. An Isolate SB1 was isolated from the soil. This isolated SB1 was subjected for a study of cultural, morphological, and biochemical characteristics. By comparing all the studied characteristics and with reference to Bergey's manual of systematic bacteriology, Vol. II, an isolate SB1 was …

Experimental Evaluation of Strength in Bacterial Concrete Mixtures
Abstract: The incorporation of bacteria into concrete, through the process of Microbiologically Induced Calcite Precipitation (MICP), offers a promising approach to enhancing the mechanical properties and durability of concrete. This research explores the effect of bacterial addition on the compressive strength, split tensile strength, flexural strength, and workability of concrete. Specifically, three bacterial strains—Bacillus megaterium, Bacillus subtilis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa—were used in varying concentrations (10⁴, 10⁵, and 10⁶ cells/ml) and incorporated …
