Compact Fork-shaped Monopole Antenna for Bluetooth, WLAN and Wi-MAX Applications
Abstract: This paper presents a fork-shaped monopole antenna (FSMA) with compact size. The proposed FSMA consisting a fork-shaped radiator and a partial ground plane with L-shaped and rectangular slits. The size of the proposed FSMA is 34 × 18 × 1.6 mm3 which is fed by 50Ω microstrip line. The L-shaped slit is introduced in the ground plane to enhance the bandwidth impedance of the proposed FSMA. The proposed antenna achieved …

A Novel Approach for Design and Optimization of Slot Antenna for WLAN Applications
Abstract: The simulation, and analysis of a micro-strip fed slot antenna array intended for operation in the 2.4 GHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical) band, which is widely used for wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. A slot antenna is a type of antenna where a slot (cut or gap) is made on a metal surface, and it radiates electromagnetic waves. Utilizing ANSOFT HFSS software, the antenna's performance is optimized, …

Optimized Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna for Wireless Communications
Abstract: The design is for a microstrip patch antenna that is rectangular. The wireless local area network [WLAN] resonance frequency of the suggested antenna is 2.4GHz. The antenna's frequency selection has made it ideal for use in wireless local area networks, or WLANs. The antenna design is optimised using the optometric feature of the High Frequency Structure Simulator software (HFSS) to increase the accuracy and efficiency of the suggested antenna. HFSS …

Quad-Band Notched Small Monopole Antenna with U-shaped Slots and SRRs for UWB Applications
Abstract: A quad-band notched small monopole antenna with U-shaped slots and SRRs for UWB applications is presented in this study. The quadruple band-notched characteristics can be achieved by embedding three U-shaped slots on the radiation patch and two split ring resonators (SRRs) near feed line, respectively. It has a tiny size, only 17 mm23 mm0.508 mm. The experimental and measured results demonstrate that the proposed antenna offers an impedance bandwidth across …

Advanced 4-Element UWB-MIMO Antenna Design: Achieving High Isolation and Multi-Band Rejection for Advanced Wireless Applications
Abstract: In this study, we present the design, fabrication, and analysis of a step-by-step Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) antenna operating from 3 to 14 GHz. The antenna consists of four elements, each characterized by high isolation and equipped with four band-rejection features. These elements are implemented on a Rogers substrate with εr=3. Each antenna element is a modified rectangular patch, incorporating partial ground etching to achieve wider bandwidth. Two sets …
