Dynamic Vibration and Damping Analysis of Sustainable Nano-Reinforced Polymer Composite Elements for Vehicle Suspension Applications
Abstract: This paper presents an analytical investigation into the dynamic vibration characteristics of nano-reinforced polymer composite elements intended for vehicle suspension applications. A single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) quarter-car model is employed to derive fundamental expressions for natural frequency, damping ratio, logarithmic decrement, and displacement transmissibility. The primary contribution lies in establishing explicit analytical linkages between material-level viscoelastic properties specifically storage modulus and loss modulus and system-level suspension parameters including stiffness and damping coefficients. …

A Review on Enhancing Vehicle Comfort and Handling Through Advanced Suspension Systems
Abstract: Suspension systems are essential for providing a comfortable ride and proper handling in vehicles, especially during cornering. A suspension system's major job is to guard the car's body from shocks and vibrations brought on by uneven and uneven surfaces. Engineers continuously strive to improve their designs for enhanced comfort, and although perfect comfort has not yet been achieved, modern suspension systems are significantly better than their predecessors. Manufacturers and design …

Computational Analysis of Leaf Spring System with Functionally Graded Materials Using ANSYS
Abstract: Leaf springs are important parts of a vehicle’s suspension system, and their main function is to absorb shocks, improve stability, and make the ride more comfortable. Traditionally, ASTM A36 steel is used because it is strong, long-lasting, affordable, and easy to get. However, this type of steel is very dense, which makes vehicles heavier. This extra weight makes the vehicle less efficient and increases emissions. Because of these issues, there …

Prototype Model Development and Design Analysis of A Solar Tricycle for Physically Challenged People in India
Abstract: Society is greatly concerned about the mobility of individuals with physical disabilities. The scarcity of energy resources and the issue of pollution are currently the primary concerns. These issues can be resolved by employing alternative energy sources such as solar power. This paper presents an overview of the existing solar tricycles designed for those with disabilities. It also improves a handicapped-friendly solar-powered tricycle. The goal is to reduce handicapped people's …
