Design and Validation of Slot Coupled Rectangular Half Mode SIW Antenna
Abstract: This paper presents the design and performance analysis of a Rectangular Half Mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide (HMSIW) antenna configuration to attain higher gain and multiband characteristics with the compact size. It is possible to produce multiband properties by placing variously shaped slots on the top of the patch and ground surface. To attain the necessary gain and multiband resonance characteristics, the type of the slot, dimension optimization, and position optimization …

Development of Compact RF Filters for Modern Wireless Communication Systems
Abstract: Modern wireless communication systems such as 5G, 6G, Internet of Things (IoT), satellite communication, radar systems, and smart wireless networks require compact and highly efficient RF filters for reliable signal transmission and interference suppression. RF filters are important components that allow desired frequency signals to pass while rejecting unwanted frequencies and noise. With the rapid growth of wireless devices and limited spectrum resources, the demand for miniaturized, low-loss, multi-band, and …

Substrate Integrated Waveguide Bandpass Filter with Cross Slots and CSRRs
Abstract: AbstractA wide Bandpass filter using cross slots and CSRRRs at X-band is presented in this paper. Half power bandwidth of 2GHz is achieved with transmission zeros on both sides. The insertion loss in the entire band is better than -1dB. A flat group delay is observed in the entire passband. Keywords: Band pass filter, CSRR, SIW, SlotCite this ArticleP. M Anju, A.O Lindo, C.K.
