An experimental investigation of Prosopis Juliflora Biodiesel’s performance and emission characteristics
Abstract: Fossil fuels are currently in crisis due to their higher cost, their increasing use, and their scarcity. In view of the large number of cars on the road and the emission levels caused by combustion ignition engines, fuel substitutes are sought. Diesel is the most expensive fuel on the market, so biodiesel is a good alternative. Aside from its low toxicity, it reduces greenhouse gas emissions, does not emit sulphur, …

Mechanical Characterization of Prosopis Juliflora Fibre-Reinforced Epoxy Composites for Sustainable Automotive Applications
Abstract: This study investigates the potential of Prosopis juliflora (PJ) fibre as an eco-friendly, economical, and mechanically efficient reinforcement for epoxy-based polymer composites. Composite samples were produced using the compression moulding technique with epoxy-to-fibre weight ratios of 90:10, 85:15, and 80:20. Mechanical tests, including tensile, flexural, impact, and hardness evaluations, were conducted in accordance with relevant ASTM standards. The incorporation of PJ fibre resulted in significant improvements in the mechanical behaviour …

Comprehensive Study on the Mechanical And Tribological Response of Waste Tyre Rubber–Natural Fiber Hybrid Epoxy Composites
Abstract: Research into the mechanical and tribological characteristics of Prosopis juliflora-fiber reinforced epoxy-matrix composites with recycled tyre rubber particles is the focus of this investigation. Making use of old tire rubber and bio-reinforcing with fibers from the common invasive plant Prosopis juliflora are the goals of the two-reinforcement technique. The end goal is to produce long-lasting, cost-effective engineered composite materials with improved performance. A constant epoxy resin matrix was used to …

Bird-Tree Associations and Co-occurrence Patterns in Delhi: Implications for Urban Ecological Restoration and Invasive Species Management
Abstract: Urban trees and birds are intertwined indicators of ecological resilience in cities. This study maps citywide bird-tree interactions in Delhi, India, hosting more than 300 avian species. The city was divided into hexagonal grids, and bird-tree data (506 interactions) were collected through field surveys across 131 sites using standardised 1-kilometre transects. Native keystone species like ficus supported the greatest bird diversity, while invasive Prosopis juliflora was widely used for perching …
