A Review on Hybrid Inorganic–Polymer Analog Nanocomposites Incorporating Pozzolanic Wastes and nano-Additives
Abstract: The recent progress of polymer matrix nanocomposites (PMNCs) reveals that the performance of matrix and filler is at the core of matrix–filler interaction, interfacial bonding, and well-controlled distribution of nanoscale reinforcements. Applying these concepts, we consider inorganic particulate systems as hybrid nanocomposites, in which a discontinuous inorganic matrix is effectively reinforced via synergistic co-incorporation of pozzolanic wastes and nano-additives. In the composite system described above, silica-, alumina-rich pozzolanic materials serve …

Growth, Structural and Optical characteristics of Citric Acid Doped Copper Sulphate Single Crystals Polymer Composites Photonic Applications
Abstract: The organic material Citric Acid doped Copper Sulphate single crystals (CACS) was synthesized and single crystal was grown by slow evaporation method. The incorporation of citric acid, an organic compound, introduces polymer-like functional behavior into the crystal matrix, forming an organic-inorganic hybrid composite with enhanced optical and structural characteristics. Single crystal XRD confirmed the triclinic system with unit cell parameters: a = 5.96 Å, b = 6.11 Å, c = …

A Comprehensive Review of Green Hybrid Polymer–Inorganic Composite Systems Incorporating Palm Tree Ash and Titanium Dioxide
Abstract: The increasing requests on sustainable and high performance systems have motivated extensive investigations on polymer-based hybrid systems with bio-derived and/or functional inorganic fillers. In this review, the importance of palm tree ash (PTA) and titanium dioxide (TiO₂) as synergistic fillers for polymer–inorganic hybrid composites, particularly about structure–property relations, interfacial adhesion and durability performance, is discussed. Agricultural waste-derived palm tree ash (PTA) plays as a silica-rich filler which not only aids …

Advancements in Nanostructured Membranes for Gas Separation: A Comprehensive Review
Abstract: Gas separation is vital in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental industries, yet traditional methods like distillation and cryogenic separation are energy-intensive and inefficient. Nanostructured membranes present a promising alternative, utilizing nanomaterials such as titanium dioxide, silica, carbon nanotubes, zeolite, and metal-organic frameworks to enhance separation efficiency and selectivity while reducing energy consumption. These membranes fall into various categories: polymeric nanostructured membranes, including mixed matrix and thin-film composites; inorganic membranes, such as …

Development and Performance Evaluation of Polymer-Modified Geopolymer Composites Incorporating GGBS
Abstract: This research investigates the development and performance of geopolymer-based composite materials formulated using Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) as a reactive mineral component within an aluminosilicate polymer matrix. The study aims to create an eco-efficient and structurally sound inorganic polymer composite comparable to M35-grade concrete, produced entirely under ambient curing conditions. A series of mixes with varying GGBS replacement ratios (0–100%) was prepared, maintaining a constant binder content of …
