Static Structural Analysis and Bridge Modeling Using ANSYS
Abstract: Structural analysis is a crucial discipline within civil engineering that ensures built structures are safe, durable, and capable of performing the functions for which they are intended. This scientific approach is essential for confirming that all safety requirements are met, thereby allowing structures to fulfill their purpose efficiently and economically over their design lifespan. The principles of structural analysis originate from the collaborative efforts of engineers across various domains, all …

Adaptive Street Illumination System with Energy Harvesting
Abstract: This paper presents an Adaptive Street Illumination System with Energy Harvesting, developed using an Arduino Uno microcontroller, Light Dependent Resistor (LDR), Infrared (IR) motion sensors, and piezoelectric transducers. The system addresses the significant energy wastage of conventional street lighting by activating LEDs only when motion is detected during nighttime. The LDR detects ambient light to determine day or night conditions, while IR sensors identify the presence of vehicles or pedestrians. …

Smart Train Station System: An IoT- Powered Platform with Arrival Detection
Abstract: The primary objective of this paper is to provide platform users with timely arrival status information and automate pedestrian crossing of the railroad tracks without the need for a staircase. This approach aims to mitigate potential accidents, particularly significant in regions like India where train accidents are more prevalent. Using IR transceivers, it determines each tsrain's state and notifies the micro controller about it. By using this research to prevent …
