Diffusion-Based Enhancement of Low-SNR Time- Frequency Signals
Abstract: Traditional enhancing techniques are useless in low signal-to-noise ratio (LSNR) situations because noise drastically interferes with communication signals. Based on an enhanced DiffBIR model, this paper suggests a dual-stage signal improvement approach that combines diffusion with deep learning. By combining the Inception module for multi-scale feature extraction with the Pixel Fusion Attention (PFA) module for significant region highlighting, the model improves signal recovery in the time- frequency domain. Experiments show …

A Review of Computational Methods for Image Restoration and Noise Reduction Using Reference Images
Abstract: Digital imaging systems play a vital role in numerous application domains, including consumer photography, biomedical imaging, remote sensing, aerial surveillance, and astronomical observation. Despite continuous advancements in imaging hardware and software, the visual data acquired by these systems often suffer from degradation caused by spatially non-uniform blur. This blur may arise due to several factors, such as lens imperfections, atmospheric turbulence, sensor limitations, motion between the camera and the scene, …

Noise-Driven Collective Behavior in Mean-Field Coupled Lorenz Oscillator Networks
Abstract: This work investigates the spatiotemporal dynamics of an ensemble of 100 identical Lorenz oscillators coupled through a mean-field scheme in the presence of additive noise. Building on prior studies of spatiotemporal chaos in coupled Lorenz arrays and mean-field coupled chaotic oscillators, the focus is on how the competition between deterministic coupling and stochastic forcing shapes collective behavior, including complete synchronization, desynchronization, clustered states, and noise-modified spatiotemporal chaos. The governing equations …

Development of Compact RF Filters for Modern Wireless Communication Systems
Abstract: Modern wireless communication systems such as 5G, 6G, Internet of Things (IoT), satellite communication, radar systems, and smart wireless networks require compact and highly efficient RF filters for reliable signal transmission and interference suppression. RF filters are important components that allow desired frequency signals to pass while rejecting unwanted frequencies and noise. With the rapid growth of wireless devices and limited spectrum resources, the demand for miniaturized, low-loss, multi-band, and …

Signal Drift Compensation in Polymer-Based Wearable Biosensors Using Data Processing Techniques
Abstract: Polymer-based wearable biosensors have emerged as promising platforms for continuous physiological monitoring due to their mechanical flexibility, low operating voltage, and compatibility with soft biological interfaces. However, their long-term deployment remains challenging because of signal drift caused by polymer ageing, hydration–dehydration cycles, ionic trapping, and environmental variations. These effects introduce baseline fluctuations and sensitivity degradation, which compromise the reliability and interpretability of physiological measurements. This study proposes a data-processing–driven framework …
