Optical Along with Magnetic Properties of Doped Nano-Structured Mos2 Nano-Films by Spin Coating
Abstract: The supernatant containing 2D nano-flakes of Molybdenum di-sulphide (MoS2) are synthesized and collected using wet chemical synthesis process. The dispersed MoS2 nano-flakes solution is having strong absorbance values at 627 nm and 690 nm conforming to an energy band gap BG of 1.79 eV and 1.98 eV. Thereafter, MoS2 thin films with and without magnetic doping (cobalt) are deposited on n type silicon by spin coating technique. These samples are …

Experimental Assessment and Statistical Argument of Al-Si/CSA/MoS2 Hybrid Composites for Mechanical and Tribological Characteristics
Abstract: To augment the mechanical and tribological properties of Al-Si matrix composites complement with molybdenum disulphide (MoS₂) and coconut shell ash (CSA), a mixed experimental and Face-Centered Composite (FCC)strategy was employed. A liquid metallurgical method called stir casting was used to create hybrid composites with 5–15 wt.% CSA and 1–3 wt.% MoS₂. A FCC experimental design with thirty runs was used to thoroughly evaluate the materials. This design allowed for the …

Influence of the Load, Sliding Speed, and Weight Fractions on Wear of a Hybrid Aluminium Metal Matrix Composite
Abstract: The vital focus of the research is intended in examining the aspect that impact the rate of wear for a hybrid aluminium metal matrix composite. The percentages of two reinforcements that are employed, the weight, and the sliding speed are the variables taken. The procedure entails employing the vortex-stir casting process to produce the hybrid composite. Utilizing a pin-on-disc apparatus, the fabricated composite materials are evaluated in compliance with the …

Tribological Behaviour of PTFE based Composite Materials with Different Filler Materials: A Combine Numerical and Experimental Approach
Abstract: This study investigates the tribological behaviour of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) composites reinforced with various fillers, utilizing the Archard wear model to analyse wear mechanisms and predict wear rates. PTFE is widely recognized for its excellent chemical resistance and low friction, but its inherent wear resistance is relatively poor. To enhance its tribological properties, fillers such as glass fibres, carbon fibres, bronze, and graphite were incorporated into the PTFE matrix. In the …
