A Classical Drug Review, Pharmacognostical and Physicochemical Analysis on Madhupipplyadi Yoga
Abstract: The drugs of Madhupipplyadi Yoga are Tridosha Shamaka properties with Vranashodhana, Vranaropana, as well as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cleaning and wound healing properties. The goal of the current study was to examine the pharmacognostical, physiochemical, and detailed drug review of Madhupipplyadi Yoga as well as to verify the authenticity of the drugs used in the preparation. All Ayurvedic texts, data from web-based search engines, and journal articles were used in the …

Secret of Dr. JRK’s 777 Oil–Pharmacognostic and Cell Culture Revelation
Abstract: The metabolites profile of Wrightia tinctoria leaf with reference to their age (young, matured and senescent) was studied by TLC (Thin-Layer Chromatography) and HPTLC (High-Performance Thin-Layer Chromatography) derivatization. Further, the difference between the young and matured leaf was tested by anatomical and pharmacognostic means. The profile of Dr. JRK’s 777 oil matched fully with the profile of young leaf. The quantitative and qualitative abundance of metabolites was found to be …

Advancements in Analytical Techniques and Validation Methods for Pharmaceutical Tablet Formulations Using HPTLC
Abstract: High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) is a versatile analytical technique which has been effectively used for pharmaceutical quality control and cost effectively, rapidly, and high throughput analyzed tablet formulations. HPTLC is different from traditional chromatographic methods as multi sample analysis is possible in one run with low consumption of solvent, which are principles of green analytical chemistry. But existing HPTLC is limited in sensitivity, resolution and reproducibility and these …

Stomach Mimicry of A-Forte for Pharmacokinetic Insight
Abstract: Drug absorption from solid dosage forms after oral administration depends on the release of the drug substance from the drug product, the dissolution or solubilization of the drug under physiological conditions, and the permeability across the gastrointestinal tract. In vitro dissolution may be relevant to the prediction of in vivo performance. To evaluate the in vitro dissolution of A-forte, a siddha proprietary medicine and the influencing factors, a study of …
