Rectangular Patch Monopole Antenna with Different Shaped Multiple Slots for Triple Band Frequency Applications
Abstract: In this paper a rectangular patch microstrip antenna with different shaped multiple slots behaves as a triple band monopole antenna. It is designed for 0.96031–1.0464, 1.3766–1.5797 and 2.1629–2.3708 GHz frequency bands. A rectangular patch monopole antenna with multiple slots, i.e., hexagonal slot and rectangular slot is fabricated on the glass epoxy (FR4 lossy) of dielectric substrate with relative permittivity (εr) of 4.4, thickness of 1.6 mm, loss tangent of 0.02 …

Design and Validation of Slot Coupled Rectangular Half Mode SIW Antenna
Abstract: This paper presents the design and performance analysis of a Rectangular Half Mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide (HMSIW) antenna configuration to attain higher gain and multiband characteristics with the compact size. It is possible to produce multiband properties by placing variously shaped slots on the top of the patch and ground surface. To attain the necessary gain and multiband resonance characteristics, the type of the slot, dimension optimization, and position optimization …

Design and Development of Screw Detection System : A case study
Abstract: This study explores the design of a vision-based screw detection and orientation system for industrial automation, inspection, and robot disassembly. By integrating machine learning algorithms like region-based convolutional neural networks (R-CNN) with traditional image processing and impedance sensing, the system performs real-time screw presence detection, head type identification, and alignment. Three key technologies—deep learning classification, edge-based geometric analysis, and impedance verification—are integrated into a single modular system. The findings indicate …
