A GAN Based Automatic Image Colourizer
Abstract: A fascinating skill in computer vision under Artificial intelligence is the technique of automatically changing monochrome photos into colour ones without human assistance. When a substantial annotated dataset is not readily accessible, transfer learning is commonly employed as the preferred approach. Typically, this involves utilizing pre-trained models with extensive general knowledge gained from training on ImageNet, which are subsequently fine-tuned to cater to specific tasks. From the utility point of …

Countering Counterfeiting: Global Challenges and Technological Advances
Abstract: Fake notes are a global issue. Indian is only one among several. Anyone may now print counterfeit notes thanks to advancements in technology. These notes are created without the state’s legal sanction, and the ongoing production of such notes could hurt a country’s economy. When counterfeit notes are created and distributed, ordinary people cannot identify the difference between real and phony money since they are identifiable by their physical qualities. …

Advanced Helmet Recognition System with Integrated Number Plate Detection for Enhanced Traffic Monitoring Using Deep Learning
Abstract: This study focuses on the crucial problem of non-adherence to traffic regulations, particularly with the compulsory use of helmets by motorcyclists. Motorcycle accidents have a greater mortality rate compared to other types of accidents, indicating a need for a more effective enforcement strategy. Current procedures depend on traditional techniques where traffic officers manually observe traffic rule infractions through patrols and monitoring CCTVs, requiring substantial labor and time resources. The inherent …

Comparative of Encryption-Decryption Performance of (Binary, Gray- Scale, Color) Images Using Discrete Fractional Fourier Transform (DFRFT)
Abstract: The Discrete Fractional Fourier transform (DFRFT) provides an effective model of image encryption by further developing the classic Fourier transform by adding fractional orders, which increase the degrees of freedom. Owing to the omnipresence of digital media in many industries like education, healthcare, and entertainment, the mobility of visual data has become a significant issue to keep confidential. Images form one of the main ways of exchanging information and, therefore, …

Multi-Sensor System for Underwater Pothole Detection to Enhance Road Safety During Monsoon Seasons
Abstract: Monsoon seasons across India and similar tropical regions severely compromise road safety by causing water accumulation that conceals dangerous potholes beneath stagnant pools, leading to frequent vehicle damage, tire punctures, and fatal accidents. Traditional detection methods relying on smartphone accelerometers, ultrasonic sensors, or machine vision fail under flooded conditions due to acoustic signal reflection at water surfaces and optical distortions from glare and turbidity. This research proposes an innovative multi-sensor …

Review on CBIR Image Based on Colour, Texture and Shape Features of Biomedical Image Applications
Abstract: This study seeks to understand how different image enhancing methods affect the sensitivity of contrast-based textural measures and morphological traits derived from high-resolution satellite data (three-band SPOT-5). The built-up/non-built-up detection framework is the backbone of every biomedical application. Using supervised learning while working with a low-resolution reference layer reduces uncertainty and boosts the reference layer's quality in a roundabout way. The image's histogram is recalculated based on contrast in order …

Dual-Stream Deep Learning Framework for Brain CT Image Classification and Implications for Polymer Composite Neuro Implant Evaluation
Abstract: Early and accurate classification of brain CT images is critical for diagnosing conditions such as aneurysms, tumors, and related lesions. We present a dual-stream image-classification framework that fuses convolutional neural network (CNN) features with handcrafted Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) descriptors to jointly capture global semantics and local textural cues. The pipeline begins with modality unification via pixel-wise averaging to form a fused input, which is then processed in parallel …
