Review of the Effect of Imine, Azo, and Formazan Compounds on the Cell Membrane of Bacteria, Fungi, and Their Inhibition of Activity
Abstract: The role of antibiotics is to reduce the resistance of bacterial and fungal cell membranes, thereby penetrating the cell membrane and causing bacterial death. Therefore, researchers have turned to preparing chemical compounds that mimic antibiotics in their ability to eliminate bacteria and microorganisms. Through ongoing research in the field of biological activity, recent decades have witnessed a significant increase in laboratory experiments involving imines, formazan, and other compounds in this …

Preparation and Characterization of Some of Formazan Derivatives
Abstract: Some formazan derivatives were prepared through reaction of benzaldehyde-phenylhydrazone with selected diazonium salts in alkaline medium in very good yields. The hydrazone were prepared by reaction of phenylhydrazine with benzaldehyde in slightly acidic medium. The structure of the formazan derivatives were fully established by physical and spectral methods. Synthesis of Some Novel Formazan Derivatives with Potential Antimicrobial Spectrum
Abstract: A sequence of new substituted formazan derivatives has been synthesized from corresponding aryl diazonium chloride and Schiff base in pyridine. The synthesized compounds were recognized by spectral studies and screened for the antimicrobial activities for those drugs. Changes of Super Oxide Dismutase Activity in Hemolymph, Hemocytes and Fat Body of Silkworm (Bombyx mori L.) Challenged by Micrococcus luteus and Escherichia coli
Abstract: The hemolymph, hemocytes and fat body of the silkworm, Bombyx mori L. were determined for superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity following bacteria Micrococcus luteus and Escherichia coli challenged using a photochemical assay system consisting of methionine, riboflavin, and p-nitro blue tetrazolium. The in vitro reduction of nitro blue tetrazolium by superoxide to formazan was measured spectrophotometrically in Bombyx Mori. Hemolymph, hemocytes and fat body were in response to various immune elicitors. …
