Technical Review Of Manufacturing Defects In Cold Forged M6 Nuts
Abstract: This review delves into the intricacies of M6 cold forged nuts, a pivotal component in many assemblies. These nuts are essential for maintaining structural integrity, yet their production can often lead to defects that compromise their performance. Key issues include material flaws, such as impurities and inconsistencies, dimensional inaccuracies that can affect fit and function, and surface roughness that can impact the nut's strength and durability. Material flaws can arise …

A Better Technique for Controlling Torque to Preload Relationship in the Accurate Assembly of Tiny Threaded Bolt Joints
Abstract: Our industrial, commercial, and even civil worlds are made possible by threaded fasteners or connections, which include all types of bolts. They offer an easy way to connect a limitless number of small parts to form large and practical objects like printing presses, cars, airplanes, and buildings. This paper describes the ways to determine torque to preload relationship in threaded connection and finalizing the optimum torque to be applied. Explains …

Influence of Infill Density on Structural Performance of FDM-Processed PET-G Polymer: Experimental Validation through Quadcopter Flight Testing
Abstract: Polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified (PET-G) is an amorphous thermoplastic copolymer increasingly adopted in structural applications through fused deposition modeling (FDM). However, the correlation between FDM processing parameters, especially infill density, and mechanical performance of PET-G parts remains inadequately characterized under real-life loading conditions. This study investigates how infill density (10% and 30%, grid pattern) influences the structural integrity of FDM-processed PET-G components, validated experimentally through quadcopter airframe fabrication and flight testing. …
