Configuring Connectivity: Cisco Packet Tracer DHCP Server Best Practices
Abstract: In internet protocol (IP) networks, the dynamic host configuration protocol, or DHCP, is a network administration protocol that uses an architecture based on clients and servers to dynamically allocate internet protocol (IP) addresses and other interface characteristics to devices that are connected to the network. It explains routing between the ISP and the campus router uses a static route between the ISP and the gateway, and a default route between …

Exploring DHCP Protocol Administration: A Packet Tracer Simulation Study
Abstract: The following functions of DHCP are included to lessen network administration: TCP/IP setting that is automated and centralized. the capability of centrally defining TCP/IP setups. the use of DHCP options to allocate a complete range of additional TCP/IP configuration values. DHCP runs at the application layer of the TCP/IP stack. Although this essay will concentrate on Windows NT, another advantage of DHCP is that it is compatible with a wide …

Quality of Services (QoS) in Linux Operating System
Abstract: Quality of Service (QoS) is a fundamental characteristic of contemporary computer networks, enabling the prioritization of network traffic and the allocation of network resources according to specific criteria. The Linux operating system provides a powerful set of QoS tools, including Traffic Control, Differentiated Services, and Network Emulator. These utilities enable you to establish traffic categories, impose bandwidth constraints, and give precedence to traffic according to diverse criteria such as IP …
