Assessment of Groundwater Quality of Deoli Tehsil (Tonk District, Rajasthan) with Special Emphasis on Nitrate Analysis
Abstract: High nitrate level in water can cause methemoglobinemia or blue baby syndrome, a condition found especially in infants under six months. For this study, 40 samples were collected from different villages of Deoli tehsil, Tonk, Rajasthan, India during the premonsoon 2011 in clean polyethylene bottles. Abstract: ABSTRACT:Fluorosis is a slow, progressive, crippling malady, which affects every organ, tissue and cells in the body and results in health complaints having overlapping manifestations with several other diseases. Fluoride contents enter into the body by water, food, fluoride dust, air fumes, drugs, cosmetics, industrial fluoride and neighbourhood.
