Characterization of Dielectric Resonator Antenna (DRA) for Broadband Applications: An Overview
Abstract: This article presents a brief review on realization techniques of broadband spectrum using Dielectric Resonators (DRs). Dielectric materials have attractive features in millimeter (mm) wave regions. In this article, attention has been focused on broadband design techniques using DRAs. The dielectric resonators possessing multi-resonant frequencies have been used for the purpose. These multi-resonant frequencies could be merged together to produce the required broadband spectrum. The primary goal of this review …

Design of Dielectric Resonator Antenna (DRA) for 4G LTE Applications
Abstract: AbstractIn this paper, a rectangular Dielectric resonator antenna (RDRA) is presented for 4G long-term evolution (LTE) applications. A metallic stripline feed is used to excite the antenna. A metallic strip line is used to increase the electric length of the port. Rectangular DRA is designed using FR4 substrate material having dielectric constant 4.4 and design is simulated with the help of high-frequency structure simulator (HFSS). Design antenna structure covered the …

Koch Slot DRA Antenna Array for Enhanced X-Band Applications
Abstract: This work introduces an innovative method aimed at improving the gain of Dielectric Resonator Antenna (DRA) arrays functioning within the X-band spectrum. The design features a Koch-shaped slot-coupled feeding structure, utilising the properties of a short-ended microstrip line to enhance radiation directionality. The results of the simulation show that compared to conventional rectangular and V-shaped slot designs, the suggested antenna array provides a notable gain enhancement. This performance boost demonstrates …

Wideband Ring Dielectric Resonator Antenna Using C Shaped Parasitic Elements
Abstract: Abstract: This paper presents a Ring Dielectric Resonator Antenna for wideband applications. Ring DRA is excited by annular shaped microstrip feedline. Bandwidth enhancement is achieved by adding the C-shaped parasitic elements on both sides of ring dielectric resonator antenna and removing the central part of a cylindrical DRA to form ring DRA. The operating frequency of proposed DRA lies between 2.054–6.5 GHz. Gain and Radiation efficiency of this proposed antenna …

Behavior of Surface Polaritons on Cylindrical Semiconducting Materials at Nanoscale with Radius Dependence Frequency
Abstract: Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is a physical property of the surface to investigate the important properties of optical behaviors for nanomaterial and biomaterial. It involves the excitation of electrons within a thin metal sheet by incident light at a specific angle, prompting them to propagate parallel to the surface. This sensitivity to external factors, such as changes in the refractive index of the surrounding medium due to molecular adsorption, underscores …

Unraveling Mixed Ionic-Electronic Conduction in Lithium-Substituted Rubidium Tetra Titanates via Dielectric Spectroscopy and EPR Analysis
Abstract: Lithium-substituted Rubidium Tetra Titanates with varying concentrations of lithium carbonate (Li₂CO₃) — specifically 0.01, 0.05, and 0.1 molar percentages — were successfully synthesized using a conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction method. The resulting compounds follow the general chemical formula Rb₂₋ₓLiₓTi₄O₉. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed that lithium ions were successfully incorporated into the crystal lattice without disrupting the fundamental layered structure of the host material. The crystal system remained monoclinic across …
