Development of Bandwidth Enhanced Microstrip Patch Antenna for UMTS Application
Abstract: In this article, a low-profile microstrip patch antenna for UMTS application is presented. A wideband coaxial probe-fed slotted microstrip patch antenna has been simulated on IE3D software to give a wide bandwidth of 31.34% and tested successfully. The simulated and measured results in terms of return loss show good agreement.

Design and Simulation of E-Shape Micro-strip Patch Antenna at 2.45GHz
Abstract: AbstractThis paper presents comparison of rectangular micro strip patch antenna and E-Shaped micro strip patch antenna operating at 2.45GHz. Two parallel slots are made into the basic rectangular patch design of micro strip antenna which resulted into desired E-shaped patch. The basic design consist of inset feed type and we have used dielectric substrate Fr4 epoxy whereas E-shaped patch consist of coaxial probe and RT Duroid as substrate. Both the …

Wi-Fi Shaped Quad-band Microstrip Antenna for RF Energy Harvesting Applications
Abstract: AbstractIn this paper, author proposed a Wi-Fi shaped microstrip antenna for the RF energy harvesting applications. The proposed antenna is operating at the frequencies 0.9, 1.7, 1.9 & 2.4 GHz. The antenna radiates at the quad-band frequency having an application in GSM Band and Wi-Fi Bands. The antenna consists of four different strips which correspond to each frequency in the result. The co-axial probe is connected from the side of …

Effect of Notching on the Return loss of T-shaped Microstrip Patch Antenna for Wireless Communication System
Abstract: AbstractWith the loading of a pair of notches, a T-shaped slot and a pair of rectangular slots, novel bandwidth enhancement of microstrip antenna is demonstrated. The design is fed through a single coaxial probe. The proposed antenna is a modification of a simple T-shaped antenna which provides good radiating characteristics with enhanced bandwidth. The proposed antenna covers the S band and is used for many wireless applications. The proposed antenna …
