rbcL Gene Based Molecular Phylogenetic Studies of Certain Pteridophytes of Assam
Abstract: About 16 species of pteridophytes found in Assam (India), were selected and their variation in chloroplast rbcL gene sequences were studied. Molecular phylogenetic analysis was performed using rbcL gene sequences where a bryophyte, Funaria hygrometrica was taken as outgroup sequence. The result showed that the outgroup Funaria hygrometrica forms a totally separate branching from rest of the pteridophytic species. On the other hand, aquatic pteridophytes, Marsilea minuta and Azolla pinnata …

Analysis of Image Coders
Abstract: AbstractIn this paper we work on the performance analysis of well-known image compression algorithm i.e., wavelet based image compression which is Set Partition in Hierarchical Tree (SPIHT) and also no list SPIHT (NLS). As SPIHT uses three variable lists which require large hardware implementation and hence extra cost and high encoding and decoding time is required but NLS use marker instead of list which are placed on lower nodes of …

Estimation of Edge in Population of Binary Tree Using Stratified Sampling Procedure
Abstract: Sampling methodologies is a tool to investigate about the information of unknown population parameters. Sometimes the population has the tree structure where one node has two or many paths to scatter. For example, from one airport, there are many routes to travel to different airports; and further, other airports have many similar links. This creates graphical structure of connectivity among different airports around the world. Now the problem of investigation …
