Detection of Hepatitis B Virus Coinfection among HIV Infected Patients in District Bharatpur, Rajasthan
Abstract: Aim: To screen for the coinfection of hepatitis B virus (HBV) in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infected patients. Methods: Hundred consecutive HIV infected patients were screened for HBV (HBsAg) using commercially available ELISA kit. Results: HBV coinfection was detected in 5/100 (5%) HIV infected patients. Partial Characterization of Crude Lipase from Mutant Soil Fungal Isolate
Abstract: Lipases are cluster of enzymes which cleaves oils and fats. Characterization properties oflipases have been studied in the present investigation because they play an imperative role inseveral industrial applications. The present lipase obtained from soil fungal strain named asEMS5%-60min exhibited optimum activity at pH 7.0 (24.90±0.25 IU/ml/min) and 37ºC (20.28±0.51IU/ml/min).
