Mapping the Vulnerabilities of Coastline Cities and Communities in Africa to Adapt to Climate Change: A Study of Lagos-Nigeria
Abstract: The Lagos coastline is active in nature and is located about less than six feet above sea level and houses about half of 15 million people in Lagos state, and is vulnerable to changes in coastline due to flooding and erosion. Climate change has aggravated this; sea-level rise will increase the risk of storm surge flooding, and coastal erosion threatening coastal cities. The annual rainfall along the coastline of Lagos …

Analysis of The Performance of A PV/PCM System in Variable Solar Radiation Conditions
Abstract: This paper studies the performance of a PV/PCM system operating at variable solar radiation conditions. The system has been tested for six different solar radiation levels, from 250 W/m2 to 950 W/m2 determining the steady-state temperature for every case. An algorithm has been developed to predict the steady-state temperature. This prediction has produced values within 97% accuracy of experimental data. A reduction of temperature up to 18.9ºC has been achieved. …

Synthesis, Characterization and Drug Delivery Application of Poly (Acid Fuchsin) Based Triblock Copolymer
Abstract: Synthesis, characterization and its drug delivery application of Poly (acid fuchsin) (PAF) was done under inert atmosphere. The (M0/I0) was maintained at 100. In order to increase the molecular weight and processability, it was block copolymerized with ε-caprolactone (CL) and tetrahydrofuran (THF) separately. The conductivity value of PAF was found to be decreased after the chemical conjugation with poly(ε-caprolctone) (PCL) and poly(tetrahydrofuran) (PTHF) blocks. Thus obtained triblock copolymer was subjected …
