Utilization of Oobleck for A Speed Breaker
Abstract: AbstractOobleck is a non-Newtonian fluid made of corn starch and water, easily made and biodegradable. The aim of this research article is to evaluate the performance of Oobleck as a speed breaker and compare it with Conventional Speed Breaker and plastic speed breaker. It assumes a definitive job in actualizing speed limits, along these lines averting over speeding of vehicles. It extensively helps to the general street wellbeing objective through …

Rectenna for Low Power Wireless Applications
Abstract: This paper presents a rectenna that is designed and simulated to power the wireless sensor systems at 3.12 GHz. The antenna substrate is designed with glass epoxy. The rectenna circuit has been simulated on the glass epoxy and RF-to-DC conversation is investigated for power level -5dBm. The presented antenna has the impedance bandwidth of 58.34%, i.e. from 2.61GHz to 4.76 GHz with a gain of 2.67dBi.Keywords: Rectenna, RF-to-DC, micro strip …

Non-linear Photonic Crystals and their Applications: A Review
Abstract: The nonlinear photonic crystals (NLPCs) are periodic material structures in which nonlinear materials are used for photonic structure formation. In nonlinear photonic crystals, the optical response mainly depends on the intensity of the light beam that propagates through the photonic crystal. These structures show new optical properties with improved or enhanced or new functionalities that cannot be observed in linear photonic crystals. In addition to this, using nonlinear materials in …

A Planar Monopole Antenna for L-Band Applications
Abstract: AbstractThis paper presents a square monopole antenna for L-band application, it is designed to be used in a 879 MHz–2113 MHz frequency bands. It is printed on dielectric substrate of FR4 glass epoxy with relative permittivity (ɛr) of 4.3, thickness of 1.6 mm, a square monopole antenna (aluminium sheet) is mounted on half ground plane via a single feeding strip. Prototypes of these configurations were manufactured and measured in frequency …

Co-planar Waveguide Circular Ring Microstrip Patch Antenna for WLAN Applications
Abstract: AbstractA printed circular microstrip patch antenna with a four rectangular shape strip and co planar rectangular ground plane has been proposed. Four rectangles of dimensions 4.8mm x3mm are arranged in such a manner to achieve both the WLAN frequency band. The bandwidths of 341MHz and 414MHz are achieved having a resonant frequency of 2.37GHz and 5.45GHz respectively. This antenna is printed on the glass epoxy (FR4 lossy) of dielectric substrate …

Fungicides demonstration to manage wheat yellow rust (Puccinia striiformis) and fusarium head blight (Fusarium graminearum Schwabe) diseases in Semen Ari woreda, Southern Ethiopia
Abstract: The experiment was conducted in Semen Ari district to demonstrate fungicides against wheat strip rust and fusarium head blight (FHB) diseases during 2018 and 2019Rex®Duo and Tilt (propiconazole) fungicides were applied to the variety Danda'a. There were three therapies employed, including no therapy. A single plot design contained all of the treatments. Fungicides showed greater efficiency against both illnesses than the unsprayed plot. In 2018, the percentage severity index for …

Varicose Veins and its Management in Unani and Modern System of Medicine
Abstract: The varicose vein is defined as “dilated tortuous and elongated superficial veins of the lower limb”. Dawali (varicose veins) is one of the commonest categories of primary venous insufficiency. Varicose veins are classified into primary and secondary types. Primary varicose veins occur more frequently, and are caused by incompetent or absent valves, defective connective tissue and smooth muscle weakness in venous wall and are usually hereditary in nature. As per …
