Transforming the Healing Spaces: – Exploring the Impact of Interior Design on Art Therapy Rooms
Abstract: Art Therapy is one of the widely used therapeutic methodologies in psychology with the motive of dealing and eliminating a person’s anxious thoughts or emotions by teaching them how they can cope with their cognitive conditions. However, it is often noted that the clinical environment this procedure takes place in may hinder with the proper development of a patient’s mental health. Therefore, an art therapy clinic should be designed in …

Non-Contact Quantification of Swelling-Induced Deformation in Polymer Hydrogels Using Image Analysis
Abstract: Swelling of polymer hydrogels governs transport, mechanics, and functional performance in biomedical systems, yet it is often reported using bulk ratios that conceal spatially heterogeneous deformation and boundary-driven instabilities. This study presents a non-contact image-analysis framework to quantify swelling-induced deformation by tracking shape and boundary evolution from time-lapse imaging. The approach segments the hydrogel region, extracts a sub-pixel refined contour, and computes boundary displacement descriptors including mean and upper-percentile normal …

Focusing on Different Therapeutic Approaches in People with Stroke Rehabilitation: A Scoping Review of Literature
Abstract: Background: Stroke is one of the main sources of death and incapacity in both the developing and developed countries of the world. Stroke recovery is a sorted-out undertaking to help patients to boost all open doors for coming back to a dynamic way of life. There are several physiotherapy approaches for the stroke rehabilitation. Some physiotherapist’s treatment based on a single approach, whereas some used a mixture of components from …

AI-Driven Inverse Design of Functionally Graded Bio-Nanocomposites for Sustainable High-Barrier Packaging
Abstract: Multilayer plastic packaging realizes high barrier performance through laminated heterogeneous structures, but the heterogeneous structure has severe end-of-life challenges caused by the interfacial incompatibility of materials and the poor recyclability. This study proposes the inverse design of functionally graded PLA-nanoclay composite films by reinforcement learning as a monolithic alternative to traditional multilayer systems. Twin-screw extrusion is designed as a continuous control Markov decision process, and proximal policy optimization (PPO) is …

Trauma of Survival and the Politics of Memory in Emile Habiby's The Secret Life of Saeed: The Pessoptimist
Abstract: Emile Habiby’s the Secret Life of Saeed: The Pessoptimist (1974) presents one of the most innovative and politically complex literary responses to the Palestinian Nakba and its enduring consequences. Through a distinctive fusion of satire, irony, absurdity, political allegory, and fragmented narration, Habiby departs from conventional representations of trauma and resistance. Rather than portraying Palestinian survival as a heroic or triumphant process of recovery, the novel presents survival as an …

Optimizing Chromatographic Techniques for Comprehensive Paraben Analysis to Enhance Safety in Consumer Products
Abstract: Parabens (PBs), such as methylparaben (MePB), ethylparaben (EtPB), propylparaben (PrPB), and butylparaben (BuPB), are widely used as preservatives in pharmaceuticals, food, and personal care products due to their antibacterial properties. However, there are growing worries about their potential to disrupt hormonal functions, which has led to stricter regulations. This study focuses on creating a robust high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for quickly measuring all four parabens in consumer goods. We …

Bone Grafting in Dentistry: From Biological Principles to Contemporary Regenerative Applications
Abstract: Bone grafting plays a pivotal role in contemporary regenerative dentistry by enabling predictable reconstruction of alveolar bone defects resulting from periodontal disease, tooth extraction, trauma, or pathology. Adequate bone volume and quality are essential prerequisites for successful implant placement, periodontal regeneration, and long-term functional and esthetic outcomes. Bone graft materials act as biological or synthetic scaffolds that facilitate new bone formation through the primary mechanisms of osteogenesis, osteoinduction, osteoconduction, and …

Design and Implementation of a Bidirectional Long-Range Communication System for Disaster Management Applications
Abstract: In times of natural disasters like earthquakes, floods, landslides and cyclones, the normal communication lines are frequently cut, thus reducing the ability of the affected people and the relief team to communicate vital information. Cellular networks and Internet-based communication systems could be compromised in the event of a loss of power, damage to infrastructure or network congestion. Thus, it is necessary to have a communication system that will be dependable, …

A STUDY OF INDIAN FEMALE SUBSTANCE ABUSERS IN TREATMENT DEMOGRAPHIC AND PSYCHOMETRIC VARIABLES
Abstract: THE ADDICTIVE PROCESSThe drug epidemic is several decades old in India. It has moved from culturally accepted recreational phenomena towards the newer drug use of Heroin, ocaine and other designer drugs. Routes of administration have shifted from oral intake and inhalation to chasing and injecting drug use. While this, in a way, represents man’s hedonistic nature, it is also a symptom of the inherent dysfunction in society and its social …
