Effect of Different Configurations of Reinforcement and Post-Cure Temperature Detailed Survey
Abstract: Composites with natural fillers have applied many applications, such as interior housekeeping, building and so on but their findings are seldom examined in the mechanical, tribological and dynamic situation. The addition of fillers in GFRP composites enhances the mechanical, thermal and tribological properties due to filler occupied in voids in thermoset resin. There has also been a lot of work done in quantifying the consistency of the operating parameters through …

Bending and Single Edge Notch Bending Test (SENB) Investigation of Natural Fiber- Reinforced Epoxy Composites using Machine Learning
Abstract: The present study aims to determine the behavior of hemp fiber-reinforced epoxy composites in terms of bending behavior and fracture toughness under bending load resembles the substitutive behavior of existing synthetic composites. The fabrication was carried out by hand lay-up assembly of hemp fiber with Lapox-12 epoxy resin volume fraction of 60:40 fiber: matrix volume. Flexural testing revealed an average strength of 93.5 ± 2.8 MPa and SENB testing revealed …

Recent Development to Track Contraband using Muon
Abstract: The muon is one of nature’s fundamental particles discovered in 1937 by Carl Anderson. A muon is an elementary subatomic particle similar to electron, but with a mass approximately 207 times greater and, sometimes it is called as a “heavy electron”. Muons are generated naturally when cosmic rays collide with atoms in earth’s upper atmosphere and, then raining down all the times upon the surface of earth. Muons can be …

Flexural Response and Numerical simulation of Unidirectional Areca–Pineapple Leaf Fiber Hybrid Epoxy Composites
Abstract: The increasing demand for lightweight and environmentally sustainable materials has accelerated the development of natural fiber-reinforced polymer composites for engineering applications. In the present study, unidirectional areca and pineapple leaf fiber (PALF) reinforced hybrid epoxy composites were fabricated using a simple hand lay-up process. Before fabrication, the fibers were chemically treated to improve fiber–matrix adhesion and enhance the mechanical performance of the laminates. Four different stacking sequences (A8, A7P1, A6P2, …
