Free Vibration of Curved Sandwich Beams with Laminated Composite Facings Using Finite Element Method
Abstract: The present work is focussed on the free vibration analyses of singly curved sandwich beams using three-dimensional finite element method in ABAQUS software. Three different layers are considered for soft core and stiff face sheets in ABAQUS solid modelling to accurately represent the effects of transverse shear deformation of sandwich structure. To validate the model, obtained natural frequencies from present model are first compared with the results available in the …

Epidemiology and Mycological Analysis of Superficial Mycosis in a Northern Indian Tertiary Care Hospital
Abstract: Background: A fungal infection that affects the outer layer of the skin and its connective tissue, including hair and nails, is called superficial mycosis. These infections are typically caused by fungi, which thrive on keratin, the proteinthat makes up the nails, hair, and skin. A common disease that can affect people of any age, gender, or race is superficial mycosis. Usually, it appears as a streaky red rash that can …

Advanced Coating Techniques: Improving Metal Longevity through Nanocomposite Applications
Abstract: In order to protect metal and lessen wear and tear, this topic has scriptive issues pertaining to coatings that are applied to metal surfaces. Components in slurry pumps have better wear and abrasion resistance compared to their surface properties. An interface region has been used to separate at least two immiscible phases in the material that makes up a nanocomposite coating. Fillers have become a major constituent of the matrix, …

Physico-Mechanical Behavior of Euphorbia Abysinica and Wood Chips Composite
Abstract: In this study, we prepared composite test specimens from Eucalyptus chip particles of sizes 0.5 mm, 1 mm, and 2 mm combined with Euphorbia-Abyssinica fluid at an 80:20 mass ratio. We produced the particleboard under a compression load of 150 KN and kept it in the compression machine for thirty minutes inside the mold. After removing it from the machine, we secured it with C-clamps for twenty-four hours. We covered …

A Critical Review on Semi-solid and Solid Lubricants for Industrial Applications
Abstract: Friction materials are very important for the safe moving of automobiles and the safety of people. As the pad slides against its match, the moving energy is turned into heat by the friction. As the vehicle's speed is lost as heat in the pads and rotors, the friction at the contact slows it down. Lubricants are compounds that are applied to moving parts to reduce friction and wear. Used primarily …

Synthesis and Functional Group Analysis of Solution Processed Zinc Oxide Thin Film Grown on Polyethylene Terephthalate
Abstract: Flexible electronics field is growing every day. Existing technology is facing issues like brittleness, toxicity, inadequacy. Fabrication cost increases in processing of such materials. In this work, zinc oxide nanoparticles synthesized by solution processing technique were used to grow 120nm thick thin film (TF) on Polyethylene terephthalate (PET). This method reduces the processing cost and Zinc Oxide (ZnO) is cheaper and abundant in comparison to other semiconductors option. Material was …

AI-Accelerated Development of Gradient Polymer Nanocomposite Thin Films
Abstract: Gradient polymer nanocomposite thin films are an active field of materials research due to the fact that it enables scientists to de-facto regulate the optical, electrical, and mechanical properties of a film by merely altering its composition on a layer-by-layer basis. This type of control opens the gate to the improved flexible electronics, long lasting protective coats, and the new smart gadgets. The problem is, though, that it is a …
