An Efficient Recursive Least Square (ERLS) Algorithm for Spectral Estimation with the Aid of Wavelet and Artificial Intelligence
Abstract: The spectral estimation technique is used for time frequency signal analysis, speech processing, and other signal processing applications. Some drawbacks of RLS algorithm are that it requires high computational power and the output obtained is numerically instability. So, the spectral efficiency of the signal is affected and a power error occurs in the estimator. In this paper, an efficient recursive least square (ERLS) algorithm is proposed for improving the power …

Analysis of Speech Using Different Methods
Abstract: In speech analysis, the voiced-unvoiced decision is usually performed in extracting the information from the speech signals. In this paper, two methods are performed to separate the voiced and unvoiced parts of the speech signals. These are zero-crossing rate (ZCR) and energy. In here, we evaluated the results by dividing the speech sample into some segments and used the zero-crossing rate and energy calculations to separate the voiced and unvoiced …

Optical Character Recognition of 10 × 10 Size Binary Images
Abstract: Ten binary images of size 10 × 10 for each of the decimal numbers from 0 to 9 are considered for the simulation setup. Applying different processing techniques on these images, information contents were extracted. Initially, no noise was added in these images and character recognition of 100% was obtained. After that, noise is added in these images (i.e., images were distorted) but even then 9 out of 10 images …
