Effect of Nano Metal Oxide Loading Rates on Polymer-Nano Metal Oxide Nanocomposites
Abstract: Many industries, such as those in the fields of medicine, textiles, cosmetics, agriculture, optics, food packaging, optoelectronics, semiconductors, aerospace, building materials, and catalysis, utilise nanoparticles and nanocomposites in a variety of applications. A unique class of materials, polymeric nanocomposites outperform their microparticle counterparts by fusing organic polymers with inorganic nanoparticles. Consequently, they ought to advance the field of engineering applications. The presence of inorganic nanoparticles can significantly alter the properties …

The Potential of Li-Fi for High-Speed Underwater Data Transfer
Abstract: Recently, there has been a growing interest in using underwater communication (UC) to monitor obstacles and marine life in oceans. Unlike conventional methods which struggle due to the absorption of radio waves in water, Li-Fi technology has emerged as a promising solution. Li-Fi utilizes light to transmit data, making it effective for underwater communication as light can penetrate deep into the ocean. In a recent study, researchers successfully demonstrated real-time …

Description of the tapeworm Tetrabothrius Rudolphi, 1819 (Fam: Tetrabothriidae) in domestic chickens Gallus gallus domsticus
Abstract: The current study aimed to study the morphological characteristics of the tapeworm Tetrabothrius Rudolphi, 1819 by examining it using a light microscope. The present revision was accompanied in Najaf Governorate since January 4/10/2023 to December 1/12/2023. 10 tapeworms of Tetrabothrius sp. were insulated from the innards of 30 resident chickens Gallus gallus domesticus. The morphological features of the tapeworms were considered expending a sunlit optical microscope by tentative the bonce …

Performance Evaluation of Dominant Red Barred D922 Breed at Peri-urban Areas of Gurage Zone in SNNPR of Ethiopia
Abstract: Animal production in general and chickens in particular play important socioeconomic roles. The aim of this study was to evaluate the performance of red barred dual breeds in peri-urban areas of the Gurage zone and to determine the economic feasibility under farmers’ management conditions to promote and disseminate the approved technology packages to the users. Participant farmers were selected purposively on the basis of willingness to cover all associated package …

Development and Analysis of Novel Silver Ion-Conducting Glass-Polymer Electrolytes
Abstract: The development of efficient and stable solid electrolytes is crucial for advancing energy storage technologies such as solid-state batteries and electrochemical devices. In this study, a novel series of silver ion-conducting glass–polymer electrolytes (GPEs) based on the composition (1–x) PEO: x[0.75AgI:0.25(Ag₂O:WO₃)] with x ranging up to 50 wt.% was synthesized and thoroughly analyzed. Unlike conventional techniques such as solution casting or sol–gel methods, these GPEs were fabricated using an innovative …

A Factorial Investigation of Hyperparameter Tuning Strategies for Lasso- Based Genomic Prediction
Abstract: In an earlier comparative study of machine-learning methods for genomic prediction of wheat grain yield, we reported a counter-intuitive result: automated nested-cross-validation tuning of the Lasso regularization penalty reduced mean predictive ability relative to a fixed, arbitrarily chosen penalty (mean Pearson r falling from 0.408 to 0.349 across four environments), the opposite of the expected effect of hyperparameter tuning. We hypothesized two possible explanations at the time — high-variance penalty …

Smart Car Parking and Maintenance Systems: Leveraging IoT for Efficient, Sustainable Urban Transport
Abstract: One of the main objectives of the smart city aspect is to facilitate sustainable mobility, and one vital component of that is the creation of an intelligent parking system. The solution to the parking issue cities face is the allocation and monitoring of parking spaces. Using the results of this survey, we have investigated this issue. As a result, an effective parking management system is now required. We can provide …

Comparative Study of Uniform and Non-Uniform Beams Resting on Bi-Parametric Foundation Under Harmonic Load with Time Dependent Boundary Conditions
Abstract: In this study, we investigated uniform and non-uniform damped and time-dependent elastic beams resting on bi-parametric foundation subjected to harmonically varying moving load. The beam properties, including moment of inertia and mass per unit length, were assumed to be either constant or varying with position along the beam span in this study. The solution methods were based on Mindlin-Goodman method, Fourier sine transformation, weighted residual method, integral transformation, and theory …
