Optimization of Sustainable Electrochemical Machining Parameters for Polymer based Materials Using AHP Integrated TOPSIS Method
Abstract: The current paper describes the use of the AHP-TOPSIS method to optimize process parameters in sustainable electrochemical machining of polymer composites. Combine lightweight polymer matrices with reinforcing particles or fibers such as TiB₂, SiC, or Al₂O₃, offering high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and design flexibility, making them ideal for aerospace and automotive applications. Non-conductive and heterogeneous nature poses challenges during electrochemical machining, as it affects current distribution and material removal …

Performance Evaluation of Green Walnut Husk Waste Extract for Inhibiting Aluminium 8088 Corrosion in Acidic Solution
Abstract: The cumulative call for environmental and supportable corrosion inhibitors has obsessed curiosity in exploiting plant-based agronomic surplus resources. Presented research work discovers the corrosion inhibition probable of green walnut husk extract(GWH)—a normal and plentiful agro-waste—on Aluminium 8088 alloy in an acidic medium. Aluminium 8088, however identified for its corrosion resistance, is vulnerable to squalor in highly acidic settings, affectation trials in several industrial claims. GWH extract act as an ecologically …

Design and Characterization of High-Performance Polymer Nanocomposites for Aerospace Applications
Abstract: Polymer nanocomposites have revolutionized aerospace materials through mechanical strength, thermal stability, and lightness. A number of polymer matrices filled with nanofillers such as carbon nanotubes, graphene, and nanoclay considerably improved structural integrity, flame resistance, and environmental adaptability. However, fabrication techniques are still being optimized so that nanofillers are properly dispersed throughout, which may create contradictions between mechanical strength and process ability. This work tries to design and characterize high- performance …

Thermal and Microstructural Evaluation of Natural-Glass Fiber Hybrid Composites: Sustainable Alternatives to Synthetic Materials
Abstract: The scope of engineering requirements for composite materials, which mix features from several elements engaged in engineering applications to enable greater performance, cannot be adequately understood in this way. The most recent of these materials are hybrid composites, which combine synthetic and natural fibers, particularly glass fibers, and are anticipated to create new, promising materials in terms of their ties to cost, performance, and consistency. From the perspective of their …

Hydrothermal modification of carbon fiber fabrics by ZnO nanorods for mechanical strengthening of CFRP laminates
Abstract: Hexagonal ZnO nanorods were produced on plain woven carbon fiber using a two-step seed-assisted hydrothermal procedure. By varying the process parameters such as molar concentrations, number of seeding cycles, and growth duration at a controlled growth temperature of 90 °C, it is feasible to produce ZnO nanostructures with a range of morphologies, including nanowires, hexagonal nanorods, and nanoflowers. The developed morphologies were examined using field emission scanning electron microscopy and …
