Study on Thermal and Electrical Performance of Pani Doped Graphene Composites under Solar Light Irradiation
Abstract: Here in the research work focusses on the study of thermal and electrical performance of PANI doped graphene composites fabricated by chemical way. A sequence of conducting polymer oxidative method done using the polymerization of aniline in the presence of graphene was deliberate under solar light irradiation. The composites were inspected and characterized using spectroscopy and microscopy studies. The thermal/ electrical performance of PANI and PANI doped graphene were evaluated …

Solar-Responsive Photo-Thermal Polymer Composites with Carbon Nanostructures for On-Demand Water Purification
Abstract: The development of solar-responsive polymer nanocomposites offers a sustainable pathway for water purification. In this work, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) films reinforced with graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were fabricated and systematically investigated for their mechanical, thermal, viscoelastic, and thermal transport properties. Neat PVA displayed moderate tensile strength (~38 MPa) and high elongation (~165%), whereas 1.0 wt% nanofiller loading enhanced tensile strength to ~52 MPa and modulus to …

Bioinspired Nanocomposite Bone Pins: Fabrication, Evaluation, and Suitability for Orthopedic Implant Applications
Abstract: Bone tissue engineering (BTE) requires scaffolds that mimic bone’s mineral–organic composition, offering mechanical strength, bioactivity, and degradation rates compatible with regeneration. Conventional metallic implants face corrosion and toxic ion release risks, while ceramics like hydroxyapatite (HAp) are bioactive but brittle. This study reports a multifunctional hybrid scaffold combining HAp for osteoconductivity; polycaprolactone (PCL) and collagen for flexibility and biocompatibility with sodium citrate for nanoparticle dispersion, ferrocene (Fc) for catalytic bioactivity; …

Structural and Optical Properties of Nanocomposites of Polyethylene Oxide Embedded with Nano-ZNO
Abstract: Polymer nanocomposites have attracted significant attention in recent years owing to their unique properties and potential applications in a variety of fields. In this study, PEO-ZnO nanocomposites were prepared with different wt.% (5, 10 and 15) nano-ZnO particles incorporated into PEO matrix by a solution casting method. Structural and Optical properties of PEO-ZnO nanocomposites were studied. X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies suggest the incorporation of ZnO NPs into PEO matrix. The …

AI-Accelerated Development of Gradient Polymer Nanocomposite Thin Films
Abstract: Gradient polymer nanocomposite thin films are an active field of materials research due to the fact that it enables scientists to de-facto regulate the optical, electrical, and mechanical properties of a film by merely altering its composition on a layer-by-layer basis. This type of control opens the gate to the improved flexible electronics, long lasting protective coats, and the new smart gadgets. The problem is, though, that it is a …
