Geopolymer Concrete Composites and its Properties- A Clean and Sustainable Development
Abstract: Production of geopolymer composites, an inventive and environmentally friendly substitute for regular Portland cement concrete, involves the polymerization of several industrial waste materials, including fly ash, powdered granulated blast furnace slag, silica fume, and rice husk ash, using solutions that are very alkaline. Because this technique removes the requirement for calcination, which is a significant contributor of CO2 emissions during the manufacturing of OPC, GPC is more ecologically friendly. Alkaline …

Study the Impact of Corrosive Pollutants on Building Materials Corrosion
Abstract: Reinforced concrete structures (RCS) may be made more resistant to corrosion by using fiber reinforced polymers (FRP). One of the primary concerns with reinforced concrete constructions is corrosion. It causes disintegration in building material components by interactions with salts, acids, and alkalis. Both within and outside of reinforced properties, pollutants and effluents accelerate disbanding. When bio-waste and building materials come into contact, microorganisms and macro organisms, grow and emit acid …

Experimental Study on the Impact of Polymer (PAM) in Enhancing Oil Recovery in Upper Assam Basin Oil fields
Abstract: The Upper Assam Basin, one of India’s most mature and extensively exploited hydrocarbon provinces, is experiencing declining oil production due to reservoir depletion and unfavorable crude oil–brine–rock (COBR) interactions. In this context, alkali–polymer (AP) flooding has emerged as a promising chemical enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategy. AP flooding reduces interfacial tension (IFT) through in-situ surfactant generation by alkali and improves sweep efficiency via polymer-based mobility control, typically using polyacrylamide (PAM). …
