Investigation on Mechanical Properties of Bamboo Fibre Reinforced Composites
Abstract: This study investigates the mechanical performance of bamboo fibre-reinforced polymer composites (BFRPCs), emphasizing tensile, flexural, and impact properties. The composites were fabricated using an epoxy resin matrix combined with untreated bamboo fibres in varying fibre contents ranging from 25% to 45%, utilizing the hand lay-up method. Recent Advancements and Layering Techniques in Nanoparticle-Reinforced Hybrid Composites: A Comprehensive Analysis
Abstract: This review examines the advancements in nanoparticle-reinforced fiber composites, focusing on natural fibers, synthetic fibers, hybrid composites, and fiber metal laminates (FMLs). Nanoparticles such as SiO₂, TiO₂, Al₂O₃, and graphene, introduced at 0.5–3% volume, have significantly enhanced mechanical, thermal, and wear properties.
