Pathways in Drug Discovery and Development: From Molecular Targets to Market Approval
Abstract: A complicated, multidisciplinary, and resource-intensive process, the discovery and development of new pharmacological drugs is essential to the advancement of contemporary medicine. Finding and optimising lead chemicals comes after a disease-relevant biological target has been identified and validated. Through preclinical research in animal models, these leads are thoroughly assessed for toxicity, pharmacokinetics, safety, and efficacy. Clinical trials, which are carried out in several stages to evaluate safety, efficacy, ideal dosage, …

White-Rot Fungi-Based Bioprocessing for Circular Bioeconomy & Valorization of Lignocellulosic Waste
Abstract: The escalating global demand for sustainable resource management and the imperative to reduce dependence on fossil-based products have positioned the circular bioeconomy as a transformative paradigm for the 21st century. Lignocellulosic biomass, generated abundantly as agricultural and forestry residues, constitutes one of the most underexploited renewable carbon sources on Earth, yet its recalcitrant structure, interlinking cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin, has long impeded its efficient valorization. White-rot fungi (WRF), predominantly belonging …

Behavior of Surface Polaritons on Cylindrical Semiconducting Materials at Nanoscale with Radius Dependence Frequency
Abstract: Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is a physical property of the surface to investigate the important properties of optical behaviors for nanomaterial and biomaterial. It involves the excitation of electrons within a thin metal sheet by incident light at a specific angle, prompting them to propagate parallel to the surface. This sensitivity to external factors, such as changes in the refractive index of the surrounding medium due to molecular adsorption, underscores …

Biopolymer Degradation and Structure–Property Relationships in Ageing: A Polymer Science Perspective
Abstract: Ageing, as viewed from the polymer sciences perspective, is perceived as the gradual modification of the structure-property-function interrelationship of biopolymers such as proteins, polysaccharides, nucleic acids and their molecular aggregates. Such changes include structural organization, mechanical behavior, physicochemical stability and functional effectiveness. Ageing is an inevitable multifactorial polymeric process. Due to the growing aging population globally, more age-associated complications emerge, which are correlated with the molecular degeneration of biopolymeric complexes. …

Evolution and Impact of Forensic DNA Typing in Modern Investigation
Abstract: Forensic DNA typing is sometimes called DNA fingerprinting. Immigration, paternity, and criminal investigations use forensic DNA typing. Forensic genetics today includes bodily fluid identification, fast DNA analysis, forensic microbiology, and phenotypic profiling. Human cells contain DNA, a molecular code. Human DNA sequences are 99.9% the same in everyone. Every person has almost 0.1% unique DNA. Forensic experts also worry about this 0.1 percent of DNA that is unique. There are …
