Abstract: This study investigates the tribological behaviour of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) composites reinforced with various fillers, utilizing the Archard wear model to analyse wear mechanisms and predict wear rates. PTFE is widely recognized for its excellent chemical resistance and low friction, but its inherent wear resistance is relatively poor.
