Performance Analysis of Deep CNN Architectures
Abstract: A Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is an artificial neural network renowned for its remarkable ability to handle large image datasets effectively, particularly excelling in tasks such as image recognition and classification. The fundamental structure of a CNN relies on mathematical convolution operations, comprising essential components such as convolutional layers, activation functions, pooling layers, and fully connected layers. These components work synergistically to extract and learn hierarchical features from input data, …

The Silent Mineral: Structural Complexity and Industrial Utility of Natural Kaolin
Abstract: Kaolin, a naturally occurring aluminosilicate clay predominantly comprising the mineral kaolinite (Al₂Si₂O₅(OH)₄), exhibits a 1:1 layered silicate structure that imparts distinctive physicochemical properties suitable for extensive industrial utilization. Deposits of kaolin are broadly classified into primary (residual) and secondary (sedimentary) categories, each defined by their geological origin and mineralogical features. The industrial processing of kaolin encompasses stages such as raw material extraction, beneficiation, and purification, aiming to optimize parameters including …

Optimal Homotopy Analysis Method (OHAM) For the Approximate Series Solution of Non-linear Partial Differential Equation
Abstract: In this article, we have used the Optimal Homotopy Analysis Method (OHAM), which is a basically semi-analytic method to solve differential equations. The ability for the user to choose the convergence control parameter, auxiliary linear operator, auxiliary function, and starting approximation is what sets apart the OHAM technique. We guaranteed the efficacy and efficiency of the procedure by fine-tuning the convergence control parameter. We solved a non-linear partial differential equation …

Activating agents control the morphology of activated carbon materials from biomass
Abstract: The stems of the plant Calotropis gigantea (Cg) were were used as a feedstock for the activated carbon material. Carbonate (K 2 CO 3 ) and oxalate (Na 2 C 2 O 4 ) were used as chemical activating agents. The morphological features of the activated carbon materials were characterized using FEG-SEM. The morphology of the activated carbon materials is found to depend on the type of activating agent used. …
