A Novel Hybrid Power System for Urban or Remote Household Uses
Abstract: Implementation of renewable energy sources powered by wind has its limitations comparing to the same powered by solar cells and the latter is more practical in many cases. Again using solar cells in integrated applications many times introduces unnecessary complexity and high cost compared to the utilization they can serve. This paper proposes a photo-voltaic (PV) cell that serves as power source, an inverter and the utility grid together that …

Seismic Performance of Mono-Support Building Equipped with Exoskeletons
Abstract: Seismic performance of the structure is one of the most crucial and important aspect of structural engineering. There have been many developments in the field of seismic resistance to enhance the behavior of the structures during seismically activated conditions. In this study the Seismic performance of buildings standing on singular columns have been studied. To enhance the dynamic behavior of the structures analyzed, the buildings were additionally equipped with steel …

Behavioral Assesment of Nanoinsertions in Cement Mortar
Abstract: In this paper is reported a comparative behavior of the 28days and long-term mechanical strength of nano additions to cement mortars w.r.t. ordinary controlled cement mortars. Nanomaterials are constantly being used to upgrade everyday products which are in constant use by us. It is seen that when these materials are singly added in optimized proportions to cement mortar they enable an enhancement of compressive strength at 28 days and also …

Air Flow Analysis on a Barrel Carburetor and a Barrel Intake Manifold
Abstract: The experiment performed was to determine air flow, velocity, pressure and turbulence through an adaptor plate between a 2-barrel carburetor and a 4-barrel intake manifold. We first created the part using SolidWorks making sure to include 2 body parts that allowed a smooth transition of air through the intake. We then uploaded an assembly instead of a singular part to ANSYS to ensure the airflow read was accurate, as well …

The Acute Toxicological Effects of Paraquat on Male Reproductive Hormones (Testosterone, Luteinizing Hormone and Follicle Stimulating Hormone) of Intoxicated Rats
Abstract: Paraquat (PQ) a contact herbicide widely used to control weeds in agricultural, recreational, or industrial sites has been linked in various studies as a contributory agent to high male infertility in regions of most use. The current study investigated the acute toxicity effect of PQ administered intraperitoneal (ip.) on reproductive hormones; luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and testosterone (Te) of male rats. 24 rats, grouped four per group …

Matrix Factorization and Tensor Decomposition at Scale: Mathematical Foundations and Computational Approaches
Abstract: Matrix factorization and tensor decomposition techniques have emerged as fundamental tools in machine learning and data science for handling high dimensional data efficiently. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of scalable matrix factorization and tensor decomposition methods, focusing on their mathematical foundations, computational complexity, and practical applications. We examine key algorithms including Singular Value Decomposition (SVD), Non-negative Matrix Factorization (NMF), CP decomposition, and Tucker decomposition, with particular emphasis on their …

Mathematical Analysis and Stability Analysis of Coupled Orbital–Attitude Dynamics for Autonomous Spacecraft under Perturbative Forces
Abstract: Autonomous spacecraft operating in Earth orbit are subjected to coupled translational and rotational dynamics influenced by gravitational and environmental perturbations. Accurate mathematical characterization of these interactions is essential for trajectory prediction, attitude stabilization, autonomous navigation, and mission reliability. This study develops a nonlinear mathematical framework for coupled orbital–attitude dynamics of an autonomous spacecraft under perturbative forces. The translational dynamics are formulated using the two-body gravitational model augmented by the second …
