Regression Analysis of Topological Indices and Physicochemical Properties of Polymer-Based Anticancer Drugs
Abstract: The research analyzed the quantitative correlation between topological indices and the physicochemical properties of selected anticancer compounds using regression analysis. Various topological descriptors—such as the First Zagreb Index, Second Zagreb Index, and Forgotten Index were calculated and regressed against key molecular features, including polar surface area, melting point, and molar refractivity. The regression analysis revealed linear correlations between these topological indices and the properties of anticancer drugs, with particularly strong …

Comparative Study on Oro Dispersible Tablets of Candesartan Cilexetil Formulated with Natural and Synthetic Disintegrants
Abstract: Candesartan cilexetil, a BCS class II drug with low aqueous solubility and poor bioavailability (15%), poses challenges for oral delivery. To address this limitation, the present study focuses on polymer-based inclusion complexation and composite formulation strategies to enhance solubility and dissolution behavior. The drug was incorporated into β-cyclodextrin (β-CD), a cyclic oligosaccharide polymer, by the kneading method in different drug-to-carrier ratios. Among these, the 1:1 molar ratio complex exhibited the …

Caries-Preventive Effects of Self-Applied Subacidic 0.5% NaF-HF Gel via Toothbrushing in 7–8-Year-Old Schoolchildren: A Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial
Abstract: To assess the caries-preventive effectiveness of self-applied subacidic 0.5% sodium fluoride–hydrofluoric acid (NaF-HF) gel used during toothbrushing in children aged 7–8 years Objective: To assess the caries-preventive effectiveness of self-applied subacidic 0.5% sodium fluoride–hydrofluoric acid (NaF-HF) gel used during toothbrushing in children aged 7–8 years. Methods: This 1-year, multi-arm, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group randomized study evaluated the caries-preventive efficacy of self-applied 0.5% NaF-HF gel among primary schoolchildren. A total of 1200 …

Reactivity of Monochlorotetrakis2-Isopropylphenoxoniobium(V), [NbCl(OC6H4CH(CH3)2-2)4] towards Chelating Ligands
Abstract: The niobium(V) complexes with the formula [NbCl(OC₆H₄CH(CH₃)₂-2)₄] were successfully synthesized in high yields through the reaction of niobium pentachloride with four equivalent amounts of 2-isopropylphenol in carbon tetrachloride. The synthesized complexes were characterized and confirmed by elemental analysis, molar conductance measurements, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, ^1H and ^13C NMR spectroscopy, as well as mass spectrometric analysis. The spectroscopic studies have shown these to exhibit dimeric structures bridging through isopropylphenoxo groups. The …

Comparative Analysis of the Structural Integrity and Dimensional Stability of Additively Manufactured Biopolymers vs. Thermoformed PETG: A 1-Year Retrospective Study on Polymer Performance in Orthodontic Applications
Abstract: Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the long-term dimensional accuracy and structural performance of direct 3D-printed biopolymers compared to conventional vacuum-formed Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG) composites. The investigation focused on how different polymer processing methods (additive manufacturing vs. thermoforming) influence material thinning and resistance to occlusal stress. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 60 cases (n = 60) of post-orthodontic maintenance. The sample was divided into two cohorts: Group …

Optimized Utilization of Kota Stone Slurry Waste in Fly Ash–Based Geopolymer Mortar: A Taguchi-Driven Approach
Abstract: The large-scale generation of stone-processing wastes presents a critical sustainability challenge and an opportunity for value-added reuse in construction materials. This study develops a high-performance fly ash geopolymer mortar by partially replacing Class F fly ash with Kota stone slurry waste (KSSW) and optimizing the key mix parameters using a Taguchi design framework. Five governing factors—binder replacement level, NaOH molarity, sodium silicate–to–sodium hydroxide ratio (SS/SH), curing temperature, and alkaline solution-to-binder …

Unraveling Mixed Ionic-Electronic Conduction in Lithium-Substituted Rubidium Tetra Titanates via Dielectric Spectroscopy and EPR Analysis
Abstract: Lithium-substituted Rubidium Tetra Titanates with varying concentrations of lithium carbonate (Li₂CO₃) — specifically 0.01, 0.05, and 0.1 molar percentages — were successfully synthesized using a conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction method. The resulting compounds follow the general chemical formula Rb₂₋ₓLiₓTi₄O₉. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed that lithium ions were successfully incorporated into the crystal lattice without disrupting the fundamental layered structure of the host material. The crystal system remained monoclinic across …
