Synthesis and Functional Group Analysis of Solution Processed Zinc Oxide Thin Film Grown on Polyethylene Terephthalate
Abstract: Flexible electronics field is growing every day. Existing technology is facing issues like brittleness, toxicity, inadequacy. Fabrication cost increases in processing of such materials. In this work, zinc oxide nanoparticles synthesized by solution processing technique were used to grow 120nm thick thin film (TF) on Polyethylene terephthalate (PET). This method reduces the processing cost and Zinc Oxide (ZnO) is cheaper and abundant in comparison to other semiconductors option. Material was …

Sensor Guard: Thermal Sensor System for Lion Detection and Collision Prevention
Abstract: This paper presents a novel system that utilizes thermal imaging and CCTV cameras integrated with sensors to detect heat sources, specifically focusing on the detection of lions near railway tracks to prevent collisions. The system employs infrared thermal imaging to identify heat signatures of animals, particularly lions, that may create risk to his/her life. By combining thermal sensors and machine learning algorithms, the system is capable of accurately the heat …

Gamma Irradiation Effects on Structural and Optical Properties of PVA/Al₂O₃/TiC Polymer Nanocomposites for Optoelectronic Applications
Abstract: PVA/TiC/Al2O3 nanocomposite (PTA) films were successfully prepared via the solution casting method. The impact of high-dose gamma (γ) irradiation (30 kGy) on the structural and optical properties of PVA/TiC/Al2O3 nanocomposites was systematically explored using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and UV–Visible spectroscopy. XRD analysis confirmed the semi-crystalline nature of the nanocomposites, which was found to decrease upon incorporation of Al₂O₃ nanoparticles and exposure to …

In-Situ Polymerized GO/PANI Composites: Structural Evolution, Optical Modulation, and NH₃ Sensing at Room Temperature
Abstract: Graphene oxide (GO)/polyaniline (PANI) composites with varying PANI contents (20, 40, and 60 wt%) were synthesized via in-situ oxidative polymerization and systematically investigated for their structural, morphological, optical, and gas-sensing properties. X-ray diffraction (XRD) confirmed a progressive increase in interlayer spacing and partial exfoliation of GO layers with increasing PANI content, indicating intercalation-assisted hybridization. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy revealed the characteristic vibrational bands of both constituents and confirmed strong …
