TZSBLC With Optimized PI Controller Design for Grid Tied PV Based Electric Vehicle
Abstract: Around the world, about 18% pre-mature births and 3.7 million losses of lives occur due to air pollution and 29% of it is contributed by the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) based vehicles, which consumes fossil fuels for its functioning. Moreover, the increased demand for fossil fuels, as well as the growth in concerns regarding the environmentally friendly and zero-emission transportation, lead to the introduction of electric Vehicles (EVs). The increased …

Futuristics of Renewable and Non-renewable Resources in Electricity Demand for Carbon-free Transportation with Electric Vehicles
Abstract: Greenhouse gases significantly impact the global environment, with carbon being the most substantial contributor. Transport accounts for nearly 22% of total global carbon emissions, prompting the urgent need for sustainable alternatives. Electric Vehicles (EVs) present a promising solution for mitigating transportation-related emissions. This study explores the transition from fossil-fuel-based transportation to EVs, examining ownership costs, global power demand, renewable energy integration, and trends in EV manufacturing and sales. A comparative …

Development of a Durable Superhydrophobic EP/PDMS Coating Reinforced with Micro-CaCO₃ and Nano-ZnO for Enhanced Corrosion Protection and Multifunctional Performance on Carbon Steel
Abstract: Balancing exceptional multifunctional performance with mechanical robustness in micro-nano composite films remains a significant challenge for practical applications. In this work, a superhydrophobic coating reinforced with micro-CaCO₃ and nano-ZnO particles was fabricated through a versatile single-step brushing method. The optimized EP/PDMS@micro-CaCO₃/nano-ZnO coating achieved a water contact angle (WCA) of 173.54° ± 2.53° and a sliding angle (SA) of 1.50° ± 1.12°. Owing to its carefully engineered micro-nano hierarchical structure, the …

An Overview on Microwave Remote Sensing for Earth Observation
Abstract: To understand the Earth from space, one must look beyond the visible eye. While optical satellites rely on the Sun’s reflection much like the human eye they are frequently blinded by the curtain of cloud cover, smoke, or the dark veil of night. To bypass these limitations, we turn to Microwave Satellite Sensing. By utilizing electromagnetic waves with wavelengths ranging from 1 millimeter to 1 meter, we can see through …
