The Study of Gravimetric Thermal Analysis and Some Physical Properties of a Binary Polymeric Mixture of Unsaturated Ester and Peach Seed Powder
Abstract: Strengthening polyester resin and increasing its hardening was studied by adding peach seed powder. We also studied how to change the thermal properties after strengthening the resin by adding different weight percentages of peach seed powder (5%, 10%, 15%). The thermal properties of polyesters were studied before and after cementing, which included thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and treatment at different temperatures (21, 51, 81, 121, 151ºC.) The effect of acidic functions …

Kisunla (Donanemab): A Novel Breakthrough Illuminating a Path to Better Alzheimer’s Outcomes
Abstract: Background: Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative condition marked by cognitive decline, memory loss, and loss of independence. Despite decades of extensive research, disease-modifying treatments have been limited in success. Recent therapeutic advancements have led to the development of monoclonal antibodies targeting amyloid-beta (Aβ) plaques, particularly the pyroglutamate-modified variant, a key pathological hallmark of AD. Objectives: This review aims to explore the therapeutic potential of Donanemab (Kisunla), a novel …

Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Multi-Objective Optimization of Agricultural Biomass-Reinforced Polymer Composites
Abstract: Agricultural biomass can reduce the environmental burden of polymer composites, yet its heterogeneous structure creates competing effects on strength, moisture resistance, density, and process ability. This study developed an artificial intelligence-assisted framework for balanced composite formulation. Experimental data of agricultural biomass reinforced polymer composites were gathered, harmonized and validated using leakage controlled validation. The mechanical and physical properties were predicted by artificial neural networks and conventional regression models. Explainable analysis …

Fingerprint and Face Recognition Based Attendance System for Exams
Abstract: In educational institutions, managing attendance efficiently and accurately is pivotal for ensuring academic integrity and administrative effectiveness. Traditional attendance tracking techniques, including human roll calls or barcode scanning, are laborious, error-prone, and vulnerable to fraud. Traditional methods of keeping track of attendance, including sign-in sheets and physical roll calls, are often time-consuming, prone to errors, and lack the security measures needed in many contemporary settings. Modern biometric technologies have made …

Precision Medicine for Neurofibromatosis Type 1: Progress and Prospects in Drug Discovery
Abstract: Objective: The development of neurofibromas, café-au-lait spots, and other neurological problems are the hallmarks of neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1), a hereditary disorder. The dearth of efficacious pharmaceutical therapies underscores the need for novel therapeutic approaches, even in the face of clinical variability. Through very accurate prediction of the binding affinity of possible therapeutic drugs with the target protein, the computational technique known as “molecular docking” has become a potent tool …

Exploring Adaptive Acoustics for Educational Spaces
Abstract: Acoustics play a major role in educational buildings as these have high density, occupying classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, auditoriums, etc., engaged by students for several activities. Due to their multi-functional nature, architectural studios in particular require larger spaces and these often accommodate furnishing such as drafting board/table, screens and podium. The considerable volume of these studios can lead to compromised acoustical comfort, which may result in issues like echoes …
