Study on Single-Slope Solar Still for Experimental and Data-Driven Analysis for Improving Productivity with Different Basin Materials.
Abstract: This study investigates the single-slope solar still under the diurnal variation of water temperature and distillate yield under identical operating conditions. Experimental analysis was conducted to evaluate the performance enhancement through the incorporation of natural basin materials, namely hemp and sand. The water distillation process is focused on improving potable water productivity and thermal behaviour. The inclusion of hemp and sand in the basin leads to noticeable differences in productivity …

Parametric Studies of In-house Resin for Hardness Removal
Abstract: Presence of high amount of calcium and/or magnesium makes the water hard as these ions in water react with other chemical agents and constituents of metallic plumbing etc. The process accelerates in the presence of heat. It decreases the efficiency of the unit operation due to the formation of scales. Hence, scaling is the main issue for which hard water is required to be treated or polished. De-mineralized water finds …

To Study the Effect of Change in Pressure and Temperature on Performance of Reverse Osmosis Process
Abstract: Day-by-day population is increasing and this increasing population leads to some problems one of them being availability of pure and usable water. As population is increasing, demand for pure water is increasing and the water resources are limited, in fact resources are depleting. This demands to find out some new ways to save water. One of source of wastage of water is the brine rejection from Reverse Osmosis process and …

An extensive review on characterisation of Cu-Ni alloys
Abstract: Copper–nickel (Cu–Ni) alloys are widely used materials for utility in marine and chemical environments for ship and boat hulls, desalination plants, Heat exchangers, seawater and hydraulic pipelines, oil rigs and platforms, fish farming cages, seawater consumption displays etc. because of their superior corrosion resistance, higher electric conductivity, heat conductivity and mechanical properties. However, the varying percentages of Copper, Nickel, Zinc and other alloying elements may lead to a large difference …
