Abstract: Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) receiving maintenance hemodialysis often report a markedly impaired health-related quality of life, largely resulting from factors such as psychological distress, chronic inflammation, and poor nutritional status. Despite its importance as a clinical outcome, HRQOL assessment in dialysis patients has received limited attention. Studies on Development of a Super Adsorbent Polymer for the Removal of Nitrogenous Waste Products from Urine Samples and in Intestinal Fluid Simulator
Abstract: Introduction: Colonic dialysis (CD) has been proposed as an appropriate candidate for excretion of electrolytes, nitrogen waste products and excessive fluid using gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Methods: The GI environment simulated in terms of concentrations of nitrogenous waste products, electrolytes, temperature and pressure.
