Brief Concept of Waja ul Mafasil and its Management in Unani System of Medicine: A Review
Abstract: Waja-ul-Mafasil (Osteoarthritis) also known as degenerative arthritis is a progressive joint disease, occurring in middle and later life. Osteoarthritis is a leading cause of disability worldwide despite its development in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. A comprehensive description of Waja-ul-Mafasil is available in classical Unani literature. While going through the literature review of various compendiums written by Unani scholars, it is clear that this system of medicine had huge knowledge about …

Bird-Tree Associations and Co-occurrence Patterns in Delhi: Implications for Urban Ecological Restoration and Invasive Species Management
Abstract: Urban trees and birds are intertwined indicators of ecological resilience in cities. This study maps citywide bird-tree interactions in Delhi, India, hosting more than 300 avian species. The city was divided into hexagonal grids, and bird–tree data (506 interactions) were collected through field surveys across 131 sites using standardized 1-kilometre transects. Native keystone species, like ficus, supported the greatest bird diversity, while invasive Prosopis juliflora was widely used for perching …

Thermo-Structural Machine Learning Framework for Malicious Sample Detection and Validation in Polymer Composite Materials
Abstract: The increased use of polymer composites in aerospace, automotive, biomedical and industrial applications has increased the urgency of developing dependable methods to detect malicious samples with counterfeited resins, unauthorized additives, recycled components, hidden flaws, or purposefully degraded physical properties. Most current machine learning techniques have focused either on isolated spectral analysis or detecting flaws in materials; as such, they are unable to perform joint verification of both chemical authenticity and …

Bio-Inspired Polymer Composites for Artificial Cartilage Replacement
Abstract: The rising cases of osteoarthritis, traumatic injuries, and degenerative joint diseases are also putting pressure on the new material that is durable, biocompatible and mechanically resilient to act as artificial cartilage. The normal articular cartilage is composed of collagen fibers, protein glycids and water in the interstitium. These elements provide it with excellent load bearing quality, lubrication and wear resistance. Due to the limited self-repair capacity of cartilage and the …
