Photochemical Detoxification of Arsenic- and Mercury-Contaminated Soils: Geochemical Mechanisms and Pathways
Abstract: This study evaluates the geochemical aspects of soil detoxification in areas contaminated with arsenic (As) and mercury (Hg), emphasizing sustainable strategies for improving soil health and ensuring safe crop production. The research provides an ecological and toxicological assessment of regional soils and classifies them base on the concentration and mobility of toxic elements. Although the current levels of As and Hg do not yet present a critical risk to agricultural …

Age-Friendly River Ghats: Bridging Heritage, Accessibility, and Universal Design
Abstract: Public spaces shape social life, yet for older adults, accessibility is a matter of dignity and participation rather than convenience. Heritage‑rich river ghats in India stepped waterfronts that support ritual, social, and daily needs are largely absent from age‑friendly and accessibility research. This bibliometric and systematic review (2010–2025) examines 1,200 records from Scopus and Web of Science and conducts a focused qualitative synthesis of 162 India‑context studies. Using VOSviewer for …

Effect of Voltage on Aluminium Nanopore Images using Digital Image Processing Techniques
Abstract: Research on nanotechnology, by and large is dedicated to ordered, controlled and customized fabrication of nanopores. The proposed study emphases on groping the morphology of alumina through FESEM images and characterization using automatic tool developed using image processing software. The proposed automatic tool measures the effect of variable voltage (35, 40 and 45 V) on alumina at constant concentration (4.7%), time (8 min) and temperature (5oC). It has been observed …

Bio Materials and Nanotechnology: Green Tea (Waste)– Aluminium Nanoparticles (Gt-Al Nps) For Methylene Blue Adsorption
Abstract: This study examines the adsorption of Methylene Blue (MB) dye from aqueous solutions using Aluminium Nanoparticles synthesized with green tea powder as a biological reducing agent. Methylene Blue, an aromatic phenothiazine dye, is widely applied in medical diagnostics and various industrial processes, but its uncontrolled release into water bodies leads to environmental pollution due to its intense colour, stability, and potential toxicity. Therefore, identifying an efficient and eco-friendly adsorbent for …

Performance Evaluation of Solar Refrigeration System Using the Numerical Methods
Abstract: Abstract Nonconventional sources of energy are main alternate resources which can provide a solution for the faster rate of depletion of fossil fuels. All renewable energy comes ultimately from the sun. We can use the sun directly (as in solar heating systems) or indirectly (as in hydroelectric power, wind power, and power from biomass fuelsetc.).Directly, the solar energy can be used to the maximum extent in ice making industries, air-conditionings, …

Prevention of Water Overflows and Leakages at MPCOE Campus
Abstract: Water is one of the fundamental necessities of human life, essential for a wide range of daily activities. People rely on water for drinking, cleaning, cooking, irrigation, and industrial processes. To meet these needs, water is often pumped from ground storage to overhead tanks. However, the use of non-automated switches to operate pumping machines can lead to significant issues, such as water overflow and unnecessary electricity consumption. The proposed system …

Water in Diesel Emulsion: Efficient Fuel
Abstract: Diesel engines are the most power conversion efficient engines, due to which it dominates the usage in various sectors but in spite of these advantages it emits various pollutants in air which can no more be tolerated. Modern hardware based solutions for pollution control with high price tag are incompatible with existing diesel engines and are pressing needs to develop technology which can fit into existing engine model and lower …

Microwave-Assisted Synthesis of Li₃Ba₂Gd₃(MoO₄)₈ Phosphors Doped with Pr³⁺ and Sm³⁺ for High-Performance Red Emission in LED Applications
Abstract: In this study, we report the successful synthesis of Li₃Ba₂Gd₃(MoO₄)₈ (RE³⁺ = Pr³⁺, Sm³⁺) phosphors using a novel, microwave-assisted solid-state reaction method at ambient temperature. The synthesis involved the use of analytical grade reagents including Lithium Nitrate (LiNO₃), Barium Nitrate, Gadolinium Nitrate (Gd(NO₃)₃·6H₂O), Ammonium Molybdate ((NH₄)₆Mo₇O₂₄·24H₂O), and high-purity oxides of Praseodymium (Pr₂O₃) and Samarium (Sm₂O₃). The reagents were mixed in stoichiometric ratios, ground thoroughly in a pestle and mortar, and …
