Role of Library and Information Services in Bridging the Digital Divide in India in Addition to Efforts Made by the Governments
Abstract: Advanced separation alludes to the hole between those with customary, compelling access to computerized and data innovation, and those without this entrance. It envelops both actual admittance to innovation equipment and, all the extensively, aptitudes and assets which take into consideration its utilization. Variables like sex, actual handicap, actual access, age, admittance to the substance, and absence of ICT abilities add to the computerized partition. Advanced libraries, Public Libraries and …

Bovine Milk in Andean Peru: The Need of an Observational Study to Assess Regional Bovine Genetics
Abstract: Andean Peru comprises 63.9% of total Peruvian agro-producers who own 73.2% of the total Bovidae taxa in Peru. Moreover, milk production in Andean Peru has been noted to be linked to poverty and thus malnourishment. An observational study is urged to assess bovine genetics and direct programs of genetic improvement to increase both the income for the farmers and availability of the produce at lower prices for the general consumer. …

An Exact Kolmogorov–Smirnov Test for the Negative Binomial Distribution with Unknown Probability of Success
Abstract: AbstractIn this paper, we develop an exact Kolmogorov–Smirnov goodness-of-fit test in the case of negative binomial distribution with an unknown probability of success. This test is conditional, with the test statistic being the maximum absolute difference between the empirical distribution function and its conditional expectation given the sample total. The results are not asymptotic, but exact. We illustrate the test with three examples in case the size parameter equals one …

An Exact Kolmogorov–Smirnov Test for the Logarithmic Series Distribution with Unknown Parameter
Abstract: AbstractIn this paper, we develop an exact Kolmogorov–Smirnov goodness-of-fit test in the case of logarithmic series distribution with an unknown parameter value. This test is conditional, with the test statistic being the maximum absolute difference between the empirical distribution function and its conditional expectation given the sample total. Some modifications are done on an algorithm previously proposed in the case of the Poisson distribution and used the modified algorithm for …

European Regulatory Perspective on Super-Generics: Antacid Orally Disintegrating Tablets (ODT)
Abstract: Super-generic is the general form of nomenclature for hybrid medicinal product in European Union (EU). The super-generic form of the medicinal product is one that considers changes in the form of active substance, therapeutic indications, strength, pharmaceutical form or route of administration. They rely partly on results of preclinical tests and clinical trials of an innovator product and also on new data with appropriate bioavailability and bioequivalence studies. Marketing authorization …
