Effect of Vestibular Stimulation on Recruitment of Lower Leg Muscles
Abstract: Vestibular system is actively involved in balance and postural tone adjustment. Vestibular rehabilitation is a commonly used therapy in various neurological disorders like Cerebral palsy, Stroke and Parkinson disease. There are many previous studies which state the effect of vestibular system on lower leg muscles but no study still to show the effect of vestibular system on muscle recruitment as seen in EMG of lower leg phasic and tonic muscles. …

Effectiveness of Contract Relax Antagonist Contraction Technique and Muscle Energy Techniques to Improve Hamstring Muscles Flexibility in Collegiate Females
Abstract: Background: Flexibility is an essential element of normal biomechanical functioning in daily life. The hamstring muscles are important to control the human movement and are thus involved in activities such as running, jumping and a range of postural actions. The hamstring muscle tightness produces decreased range of motion and reduced flexibility of the pelvis, hip and knee joints. Muscle stiffness of the lower extremities and the subsequent decrease in joint …

Awareness of Voice Symptoms and Gender Predisposition in South Indian Carnatic Singers using The Singing Voice Handicap Index
Abstract: Abstract Purpose: Voice is crucial for communication and thereby the quality of life. This study was carried out with the objectives: a) to find out the differences among the physical, functional, and emotional domains of SVHI 10 and b) to check for gender predisposition, if any, in the estimated singing voice handicap symptoms. Method: 38 trained Carnatic classical singers (19 males and 19 females) from the South Indian states of …

Clinical Validation of Unani Pharmacopoeial Formulation Majoon Suparipak in Sayalān Al-Rahim (Leucorrhoea)
Abstract: Leucorrhoea is a broad term commonly used for a condition where woman suffer from uterine, cervical or vaginal discharge other than blood due to genital tract infection or alteration in genital physiology and is highly prevalent (31–70%). In Unani medical literature it is described as Sayalān al-Rahim. According to Avicenna, uterus contains excessive waste products and hence prone to infection which leads to weakening of digestive faculty of uterine vessels …

Bird-Tree Associations and Co-occurrence Patterns in Delhi: Implications for Urban Ecological Restoration and Invasive Species Management
Abstract: Urban trees and birds are intertwined indicators of ecological resilience in cities. This study maps citywide bird-tree interactions in Delhi, India, hosting more than 300 avian species. The city was divided into hexagonal grids, and bird–tree data (506 interactions) were collected through field surveys across 131 sites using standardized 1-kilometre transects. Native keystone species, like ficus, supported the greatest bird diversity, while invasive Prosopis juliflora was widely used for perching …

Unveiling Actionable Pathogenic Genes for Precision Oncology in Brain Cancers: Glioblastoma and Astrocytoma
Abstract: Glioblastoma (GBM) and astrocytoma are aggressive primary brain tumors characterized by significant molecular heterogeneity, complicating effective treatment. This study employed targeted next-generation sequencing of 529 cancer-associated genes on matched tumor-normal pairs from GBM and astrocytoma patients. Somatic variants were identified using a rigorous bioinformatic pipeline adhering to GATK Best Practices, with variant allele frequencies (VAF) calculated to assess clonal dominance. Functional annotation and driver mutation classification were performed using Ensemble …

Thin-Film Quantum Photonic Technologies for Quantum Teleportation
Abstract: One of the most important protocols in distributed quantum computing and quantum communication is quantum teleportation, which allows quantum information to be sent between distant nodes without actually sending the quantum particle. The teleportation process is fundamentally based on quantum entanglement, Bell state measurements, and classical communication channels, which collectively allow the accurate reconstruction of an unknown quantum state at a remote location. In recent years, rapid progress in integrated …

A Study to Assess the Effectiveness of an Information Education Communication Module Regarding Health Hazards of Junk Food Among Late Adolescent at Selected Villages
Abstract: Junk food refers to ready-to-eat foods that are prepared and served quickly, including a wide range of fast-food products. In recent years, the popularity and consumption of junk food have risen markedly in India, particularly among adolescents and young adults, who constitute the largest consumer group. This growing preference has made junk food a regular component of the dietary patterns of many adolescents in developing nations. Frequent consumption of these …

A Study to Assess the Effectiveness of Knowledge and Practice Regarding Peritoneal Dialysis Among Patients with End-Stage Renal Disease at Selected Nephrourology Departments
Abstract: End-stage renal disease (ESRD) is a chronic and irreversible disorder in which kidney function declines permanently, making renal replacement therapy essential for survival. Among the available treatment options, peritoneal dialysis (PD) is considered a useful home-based therapy. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of PD largely depends on patients’ understanding of the procedure and their ability to perform it accurately. This study was conducted to evaluate the impact of a structured teaching program …

Pain Management in Rheumatoid Arthritis: Clinical Role and Therapeutic Implications of NSAIDs
Abstract: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a progressive, chronic autoimmune condition that results in swelling in multiple joints. It is estimated to occur in 0.5–1% of the global population and is more common in women. India has an estimated prevalence of 0.75%. RA causes the destruction of joints and a decrease in disabilities and quality of life. It is accompanied by further manifestations and multiple co-occurring conditions that lead to a greater …

Recent Advances in Crystal Defect Engineering of Semiconductor Photocatalysts for Sustainable Environmental and Energy Applications
Abstract: Semiconductor photocatalysis has emerged as one of the most promising green technologies for addressing environmental pollution and global energy challenges through solar energy utilization. Nevertheless, the practical application of conventional semiconductor photocatalysts is often limited by their narrow visible-light absorption, rapid recombination of photogenerated electron–hole pairs, insufficient active sites, and poor charge-transfer efficiency. Defect engineering has recently attracted significant attention as an effective strategy to overcome these limitations by deliberately …
